Vivian Saliba has been lighting up the poker world since her breakout appearance at the 2017 World Series of Poker. Hailing from São Paulo, Brazil, Saliba’s rise in the industry is as captivating as her table presence.

Known for her skill in Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) and her affable personality, she has not only earned the respect of poker enthusiasts around the globe but also become one of the most recognized faces in the game.

Poker Career Highlights and Winnings

Vivian Saliba’s path into poker began at just 17, when her father introduced her to a local card club in São Paulo. Initially attracted by the social aspect of poker, Saliba gradually transitioned into playing PLO cash games and developed a deep affinity for the variant. Her professional breakthrough came in 2017 at the WSOP Main Event, where she made headlines as the youngest female participant in the field of 7,221 players. She cashed in 421st place, earning $27,743 and instant recognition across the poker landscape.

That summer marked the start of her international poker journey. In addition to her Main Event cash, she notched five total WSOP cashes in 2017, including an impressive 11th-place finish in the $10,000 PLO Championship. Her performance captured the attention of both fans and industry insiders, leading to a sponsorship deal with 888poker.

Saliba’s success continued across Europe. She final-tabled a PLO event at PSC Barcelona, finishing 3rd, and later took down the Ladies Event at the 888poker Festival in London. At the 2017 WSOPE, she earned four more cashes, cementing her status as one of the game’s rising stars.

In 2024, Saliba reached a career milestone by claiming her first WSOP bracelet. She triumphed in Event #4: €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha at the WSOP Europe in Rozvadov, outlasting 229 players and defeating Germany’s Markus Anheier heads-up to secure the €91,400 top prize. The victory came after nearly 17 hours of intense play and a dramatic final table where she rallied from a short stack to the championship.

Saliba’s growing resume now includes:

• Total Live Earnings: $1,118,702

• Best Live Cash: $308,888

• All-Time Money List Rank: 2,683rd

• Brazil All-Time Money List: 36th

• Global Poker Index Ranking: 1,346th

Net Worth and Sponsorships

Vivian Saliba’s current estimated net worth, based on her tournament winnings and sponsorship deals, must be in seven-figures. Her partnership with 888poker not only provides a steady income stream but also positions her as a key figure in promoting the game worldwide.

Vivian Saliba’s charm, combined with her deep understanding of Pot-Limit Omaha, makes her not only a fan favorite but also a solid competitor on the felt.
