Brandon Wilson wrapped up 2024 on a grand note, winning three Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open High Rollers, and is showing no signs of stopping. In the very first week of 2025, Wilson scored his first victory of 2025 by winning Event #3: $10.1k in the PGT Last Chance for a staggering $279,500. His latest victory brings his live poker earnings past $3.5 million.

The $10,100 no-limit hold ’em PokerGo Tour Last Chance event saw 119 entrants, matching Event #2 entries generating a total prize pool of $1,190,000. As the field whittled down, only the top 17 players shared the $1.1 million prize pool.

Keith Lehr led the final seven, while Wilson was among the mid-pack. Brandon Wilson was on the verge of being eliminated, as he was down to just three big blinds, but doubled up with four-deuce. Wilson then knocked out David Chen in 7th place for $47,600, scoring the first elimination of the final table.

He didn’t stop there and eliminated the four-time World Poker Tour Champion Darren Elias in 6th place after his pocket deuces withstand the ace-king of Elias. The WPT champion took home $59,500 for his impressive finish. Landon Tice, on the other hand, took the chip lead, sending out Dylan Linde in 5th place for $77,350 when his king-six beat the ace-eight of Linde. Tice further extended his lead by knocking out Sam Soverel in 4th place for a payday of $101,150.

One hand later, Keith Lehr was the next to fall at the final table. Lehr’s pocket nines ran into the pocket kings of Tice. The brick board favored the kings of Tice to end the tournament life of Keith Lehr in 3rd place for $130,900. Tice entered the heads-up play with a four-to-one chip lead against Wilson, but Wilson narrowed the chip gap as the blinds rose.

The role was reversed just before the final hand was dealt, where Wilson’s pocket threes held up against the ace-king of Tice. Wilson won the hand and took a four-to-one chip advantage over Tice. The next hand, Tice shoved with pocket threes against the jack-ten of Wilson. Wilson spiked his jack on the board to score his first win of 2024. Tice had to settle for the second place and a six-figure payout of $184,450.

Looks like this won’t be his only trophy in the series. Wilson has made it into the final table of Event #4 of the PokerGo Tour Last Chance and is vying to score back-to-back victories.
