The Bengaluru-based online gaming company Gameskraft best known for their real money gaming platform RummyCulture has recently acquired an 8.61-acre land parcel in Gurugram, Haryana for a whopping sum of Rs. 90 crore. The details were revealed by the real estate data platform Propstack.
The land is located in Balola village under the Wazirabad sub-tehsil of Gurugram district and is classified as agricultural land according to the documents accessed by Propstack. Gameskraft Technologies Private Limited also paid a stamp duty of Rs. 6.3 crore and a registration fee of Rs. 50,005.

Gameskraft has confirmed the purchase of land in Gurugram for the development of an educational facility as part of its broader social initiatives. Rishi Wadhera, the Vice President of Corporate Communication and CSR at Gameskraft said that buying the land was part of their plan for broader social initiatives, highlighting Gameskraft’s commitment to skill-building and education.
Gameskraft has been known for its efforts in skill development initiatives, with Prithvi Raj Singh personally receiving the ‘Champions of Change’ award in December 2023. Despite facing allegations of Goods and Services Tax (GST) evasion, the company made a profit of Rs. 1,061,86 crore for the financial year 2022-23.
The GST intelligence unit sent a notice to Gameskraft alleging GST evasion of Rs. 21,000 crore, in 2022. The company challenged this notice in the Karnataka High Court, resulting in the notice cancellation. Additionally, the revenue intelligence unit of the GST department didn’t stop there and appealed against the High Court’s decision in the Supreme Court. The Bengaluru-based company also purchased another office space in Bengaluru for Rs. 129,99 crore.
Gameskraft isn’t the only company to acquire land in Delhi NCR Region. In the past years, several big companies have been purchasing land in the Region. For instance, Smiti Agarwal of Wesbok Lifestyle Pvt Ltd bought an apartment in The Camellias by DLF for Rs. 95 crore in January 2024. Similarly in November 2023, Countrywide Promoters, a subsidiary of BPTP Group acquired a 5,24 acre plot close to Dwarka Expressway for Rs 87.27 crore.
