Just two days after Casey Sandretto’s WPT Rolling Thunder Championship victory, the World Poker Tour (WPT) revealed the second half of its Season XXII schedule, which includes eight separate festivals spread across four continents. The schedule includes three events in the Asia-Pacific region, the first-ever WPT Macau and two other festivals in Taiwan and Australia, respectively.

Before the second half of the schedule kicks off, the global poker operator is busy hosting the WPT Korea, which will conclude on April 3. Next up will be the WPT Voyage, a cruise for partying and playing cards for a week. Among other stops include WPT Prime Slovakia (April 4-15), and WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown (April 18) in Hollywood, Florida. And then one more Main Tour stop before the summer — WPT Choctaw — kicks off on May 3 in Southern Oklahoma.

What is ahead in the Second Half WPT Season XXII Schedule?

The second leg of the World Poker Tour schedule will include visits to North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and eight vibrant cities. Culminating the journey will be the highly anticipated WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December. For now, there are eight second half festivals planned, and the action begins June 20-24 with the HKD 40,000 WPT Macau. Two months later, the WPT will be heading to Taiwan for its WPT Prime Taiwan set for August 15-19, 2024.

Later, from September 12-16, the WPT Prime series will make its way to Europe with an event in the United Kingdom. Poker enthusiasts will then be able to venture down under from September 20-25 for the AUD $8,000 WPT Australia Main Tour event. Next up will be the WPT Prime Liechtenstein (September 26-30), which will be followed by WPT Paris as the second European stop.

As the season draws to a close, attention shifts back to American soil, featuring two pre-WPT World Championship events. First up is the WPT bestbet Scramble in Jacksonville, a $5,000 buy-in tournament, which saw Frederic Normand clinch victory last year, banking $351,650 in top prize.

For the second time in Season XXII, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will host a World Poker Tour event, offering the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open from November 29 to December 4, leading directly into one of the poker world’s most anticipated events in Las Vegas.
