Running from March 5- 21, the 2024 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju wrapped up with a bang, recording over 2,555 entries and distributing more than $102 million in prize money. The final event of the series was the $20,000 short deck turbo that drew 42 entries and took just a single day to conclude. When the dust settled it was England’s Stephen Chidwick winning the trophy.
This was the second Triton title for the 34-year-old UK pro, who earned an impressive $265,000 for his latest win, boosting his lifetime earnings to more than $57 million. He is currently ranked third on poker’s all-time money list and more than $19.7 million of his live earnings have come from Triton events.

Chidwick came out on top of a tough final final table on his way to the title, outlasting the likes of ten-time bracelet winner and five-time Triton champion Phil Ivey (7th), World Poker Tour champion Seth Davies (6th), Isaac Haxton (5th), two-time WSOP bracelet winner Daniel Dvoress (4th), and recent Triton pot-limit Omaha event winner Quan Zhou (3rd).
In the final showdown, he clashed against two-time Triton champion Tan Xuan, who was fresh off from his win in the $50,000 short deck main event at this festival for $922,000. Chidwick had a slight lead when the final hand arose. All of the chips went in with Zuan’s A-K leading Chidwick’s A-10, but a ten-high flop turned the tables. Chidwick held through the river, winning the pot and the title. Xuan earned $191,000 as the runner-up, boosting his career earnings to nearly $9.4 million in the process.
