The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is in full swing in Las Vegas. More than a dozen of bracelet winners have been crowned, with three winners – Ryan Bambrick, Brad Ruben and Yosef Fox – being crowned yesterday on Day 8 of the series.

With the victory of Brad Ruben, and Yosef Fox already covered, today we spotlight Ryan Bambrick’s thumping victory, which earned his second career-bracelet and a career-high payday.

A passionate poker player and crypto trader from New Jersey, Ryan Bambrick put on an impressive performance on his way to winning Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship to claim his second bracelet and  a career-high $470,437 from the $2,018,100 prize pool.

Ryan Bambrick overcame a field of 217 entries and dominated a tough final table, eventually defeating the poker legend Daniel Negreanu and denying him the eighth bracelet of his career.

The fourth and final day of the event kicked off with five players remaining, with Viktor Blom in lead and Bambrick and Negreanu in second chip position. Negreanu, chasing his eighth bracelet, scored the first elimination by sending Hunter McClelland to the rail in fifth place ($109,679).

The next elimination was scored by Bambrick, who busted Viktor Blom (4th place for $152,315).

Down to three-handed, Negrreanu scored another elimination when he hit quads against Ofir Mor and finished him off in 3rd place ($216,223), making it to the heads-up with a chance to win his eighth gold bracelet.

Despite scoring two eliminations on his way to heads-up, Daniel Negreanu entered the final duel at a significant disadvantage, facing around a 2:1 chip deficit against Bambrick.

Bambrick kicked off well, winning the first pot from Negreanu and keeping the pressure on Negreanu. Bambrick chipped Negreanu down once again, leaving him short.

Finally, it was all over with all the chip getting in on a J♠ 9♦ 5♥ J♥ board. Bambrick had the nut full house with J♣ 9♠ 8♥ 2♦ and Negreanu needed a king to make a bigger full house with K♥ J♦ 3♠ 2♠.

Unfortunately for the Canadian poker legend, the A♠ fell on the river, ending his run with a runner-up finish.
