The 2025 PGT PLO has officially concluded, with Jim Collopy taking down the $25k Championship event and Jesse Lonis taking home the overall series title. The fifth installment of the 2025 PGT PLO series featured 11 events and ran from 25 March to 5 April inside the luxurious ARIA Las Vegas. Jim Collopy Ships the 2025 PGT PLO Series Championship Event
Jim Collopy battled against an elite entry field of 60 players on his way to winning Event #10: $25k PLO Championship at the PGT PLO series, earning his career second PGT title and locking a massive $450,367 top prize.
The three-time bracelet winner, Collopy, scored his first PGT title back in March 2023, when he won the 2023 PGT PLO Event #6: $10k for a paycheck of $206,400. He then went on to score multiple runner-up and final table finishes in several PGT series, but failed to win any title. With the recent victory, he now has over $11 million in accumulated live earnings, further leading Washington DC’s all-time money list.
The $25k buy-in PLO Championship saw a turnout of 60 entries, generating a total prize pool of $1.5 million, paid out to the top 10 players. The remaining seven players on the final day formed the televised Final Table. Jesse Lonis went on to round up the podium to collect a $210,000 paycheck and become the newest PGT PLO Series champion with 662 points. Daniel Weisman finished as the runner-up, earning a $329,633 payout. Collopy took the bigger piece from the total prize pool of $450,367 for his victory.

Jesse Lonis is the Latest PGT PLO Series Champion
Jesse Lonis has been crowned the newest PokerGoTour’s PLO Champion. Lonis won the latest 2025 PGT PLO series title for his top-notch performance in the series. Lonis topped the 2025 PGT PLO Series Leaderboard, receiving the PGT Gold Cup and a $10k PGT Passport to the 2025 PGT Championship. Lonis earned nearly $800k during the series to cross the $15 million mark on the Hendon Mob profile.
Of the 11 events, Lonis cashed in 5 events, banking $799,140 in earnings, and collecting 662 points. He scored two podium finishes in Event #2: $5,100 PLO Progressive Bounty and the PLO Championship Event, collecting over $257k. Lonis also took down Event #9: $15k PLO, pocketing $307,850, and his career fourth PGT title.
Besides these scores, he finished as the runner-up in Event #7: $15k PLO for $204,750. As per PokerGoTour, Lonis has 46 cashes in PGT events along with 23 final table finishes and four PGT titles. His lifetime PGT earnings are close to $6.20 million, establishing him as one of the most successful PGT players.
