The French poker player Axel “A Baby” Bayout entered the Mystery Millions online through a $300 satellite on GGPoker and added a whopping $447,242 and a career-first bracelet to his resume. Bayout defeated high-stake pro-Ren Lin in the heads-up to close out the victory.

The WSOP Paradise $2,750 buy-in Mystery Millions Online drew 2,185 entrants across several flights and satellite events, crushing the $5 million guarantee for a $5,462,000 total prize pool. The final table was scheduled to take place on December 16th during the WSOP Paradise 2024. However, it was postponed for some technical reasons to December 23rd,2024.
Axel Bayout managed to crush the final table and eventually triumphed over China’s Ren Lin to win his career-first gold bracelet and a six-figure payout of $447,242, plus $84,800 Bounty. The victory has now brought his tournament earnings close to the $1 million mark.
China’s Ren Lin is still in search of his career-first gold bracelet, after his remarkable runs in this year’s WSOP. Lin finished as the runner-up and took home a six-figure payout of $333,394, including the biggest bounty prize of $305,050 for his dominating run in the tournament.
2024 has been amazing for the Chinese Poker Pro. He scored several deep runs and earned millions of dollars. The pro closed out the 2024 WSOP Paradise with a runner-up finish in the $3,500 NLH Closer Turbo Bounty earning $110,000.
He also won the $3,000 NLH 6-Max Event at the Wynn Las Vegas during the 2024 WPT World Championship for a whopping $180,000. With his recent runner-up finish in the online WSOP event, he now has pushed his tournament earnings over $14 million to cement his position further on China’s all-time money list. Lin is currently second on the Global Poker Index Ranking and is just behind Jesse Lonis by 17 points to overcome Lonis for the Player of the Year title.
