The Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) returned to Las Vegas, this time featuring a massive $50,000 in first-place prize money. Maria Ho, known for her unmatched mastery in this tournament, reigned supreme once again, winning the latest CPT event held inside the PokerGo Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas. Ho, who had previously won the CPT Game Night 1 for $10K in March this year, took home $50K in top prize. With the victory, she became the tour’s first-ever two-time champion.

The 41-year-old Women in Poker Hall of Fame member, who has more than $5.5 million in live earnings, topped a star-studded 59-entry field featuring big stars from sports, television, social media and more.

The field saw former NBA players Mike Bibby and Mario Chalmers along with streamers like Ninja, influencers like Maverick Baker and Tana Mongeau, as well as names from the worlds of showbiz, music, football and more. Among well-known names from poker were GGPoker ambassador Alex Botez, Ethan ‘Rampage’ Yau, former CPT winners Nemo Zhou and Princess Love along with the eventual winner Maria Ho.

The field also had Sofie Dossi, a YouTube star and contortionist, who made headlines for her grand entrance in an earlier CPT event. Dossi ended up with a deep run, finishing third for $10,000. In her last hand, she shoved with As Jh against the Kc 3h of HO. The flop Kd Qs 10s gave Dossi a broadway straight but the turn Qc and the river Qh gave Ho a running full house, leading to a heart-breaking exit of Dossi in third place.

After the elimination of Dossi, Ho took a massive 37:1 chip lead into heads-up against Brian Quinn of the long-running Impractical Jokers television series. The heads-up did not last long with Ho making full use of her advantage and finishing things quickly with her second CPT title.

Quinn was able to secure a double up, but soon went all-in again with 4-2 trailing A-K suited for Ho. She flopped kings and nines and held from there to clinch the coveted victory. Quinn took home $20,000 as the runner-up.
