One such player is Italy’s Simone Andrian. The young player recently caught attention by once again grabbing headlines at the 2024 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE). He took down the coveted Main Event confirming his second WSOP bracelet at King’s Resort, Rozvadov.

The win was more special for Italy’s Monfalcone-based player since it was the same venue where he started his live poker journey around three years back. Interestingly, itt was the same venue where he had earned his first bracelet.
Andrian outshined an impressive field of 768 players, which happened to be the second-largest WSOPE Main Event in the history of the tournament. The final showdown witnessed a tense and dramatic heads-up battle against Urmo Velvelt. Notably, the Estonian poker pro gave the Italian a real run for his money during their three-hour duel.
Finally, Simone Andrian managed to beat his opponent and emerge victorious. He recorded his career-best earning of € 1,300,000 with the Main Event victory.

Notably, Andrian has been a prolific online poker tournament player. He started playing major live events more frequently in the year 2021. After beginning his live poker journey, Andrian claimed his first WSOP gold bracelet in just his fifth recorded live score. The Italian shipped the €1,650 NLHE 6-Max event at the 2021 WSOP, collecting his then career-best €158,616 along with his first gold WSOP bracelet.
Later in January 2022, the player took the eighth spot in a €1,700 WSOP Circuit event at King’s Resort, Rozvadov for €32,408. Three months post that Simone Andrian won another title in the €2,150 NLHE 6-Handed event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival and bagged €54,080.
Simone Andrian then entered the WSOPE Main Event and even went deep. He finished at the 39th place for €33,820.
In June last year, Andrian achieved another feat of nailing two events in the span of just three weeks. First, he emerged victorious at the €1,100 WPT Prime Sanremo Main Event for €147,020. He then followed it up by taking down the €1,100 PokerStars Summer Festival Malta Main Event for an additional paycheque of €153,610.
With unwavering confidence and a hefty bankroll for support, Andrian went to Las Vegas in December 2023 and took 29th in the $10,400 WPT World Championship event, adding another $159,200 to his bankroll. A month later, Andrian nailed the $2,200 buy-in event at the Merit Poker Western in Cyprus for a decent sum of $165,000.
Then came the WSOP 2024 season, and Andrian continued his form. He pocketed $122,550 for a third-place finish at the $3,200 NLHE High Roller online WSOP bracelet event in July 2024. He followed it with a fourth place two weeks later at a $2,200 tournament in Cyprus banking $115,000.
Come October 2024, and Andrian became a two-time WSOP bracelet winner after taking down the €10,350 WSOP Europe Main Event, He recorded his career-best of €1,300,000 from this historic win.
Apart from the win, Simone Andrian also cashed at another event at the series, namely the € 800 + 300 No Limit Hold’em – Turbo Bounty Hunter (Bracelet Event #11). Here he took the 16th place for a payday of € 2,075 ($ 2,294).

Simone Andrian flaunts total live earnings of $2,758,216 in his live poker tournament career spanning about three years. His best live cash to date has been $1,434,451, which he recently won by shipping the WSOPE Main Event for his second bracelet.
The Italian player ranks 859th in the global All Time Money List, according to Hendon Mob, and ranks 10th on Italy’s All Time Money List.
