The recent two main events of the RunGood Poker Series saw a newbie and a poker pro capturing their first RGPS poker title. Eric Bunch with over $1.5 million live earnings and a Circuit ring won the RGPS Tulsa Main Event, while Dustin Cavanaugh has opened his Hendon Mob profile with a victory in the RGPS Reno Main Event. 2024 RGPS Tulsa $800 Main Event Recap
The main event of the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) has officially concluded, with Eric Bunch being crowned as the winner. The $800 buy-in gathered 472 players inside the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel Tulsa, creating a prize pool of $330,400. The field narrowed down, and 56 players on Day 2 secured a minimum payday of $1,248. Meanwhile, $65,829 was reserved for the main event champion.
Eric Bunch entered the final day as the chip leader and kept his momentum to lead the final 9. The table saw quick elimination with Derrick Yegge (9th), and Issac Cramer (8th) went to the rail.
Bunch extended his chip lead, however Rob Noce, even the chip gap. It didn’t take long for Bunch to regain the lead to send Rob Noce to the rail in the 5th. Noce went all in holding Ac-9s, and Bunch called it with Kh-Js. The board ran out 10c-9c-Qs-6d-5s to give Bunch straight. Rob Noce added $18,307 to his earnings.
Bunch carried on and went on to eliminate the second in chip lead Han Lam in 3rd place to further extend his monstrous stack. The heads-up play was over in no time, Bunch put Harlod Harvey in an all-in position with Kc-5s. Harvey called the last of his stack with Jh-3s. The board displayed Ks-9c-4s-6s-As, giving Bunch a better flush.
Harold Harvey had to settle for $43,906 to push his career earnings over $100,000. The Champion Eric Bunch took home his first RunGood Poker Series title and the top prize of $65,829, pushing his career earnings beyond $1.5 million.

2024 RGPS Reno Main Event Recap
The $600 buy-in main event of the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) at Reno’s Atlantis Casino has found its winner. Dustin Cavanaugh, who has a pharmacist background, is now the third player to win the RGPS Reno Main Event.
The $600 buy-in attracted 301 entrants, from which only the top 39 players made it to the money to collect a share from the $153,510 prize pool. The event saw a WSOP pro, Scott Stewart, who has won six World Series of Poker Circuit Ring. Stewart entered the final day as the chip leader and also led the final table, followed by Dustin Cavanaugh.
Stewart lost the lead at the final table play, and couldn’t regain it. Mid-Pack player Michael P Harris climbed the chip leader by conquering the table with elimination. Harris eliminated Greg Paradero (9th), Thomas Tran (8th), Aki Suzuki (5th), and Adam Saven in 4th place. Scott Stewart’s run ended in 3rd place, after running into the pocket aces of Cavanaugh. Stewart’s Kc-Js didn’t hold up, giving him $15,130 for his deep run.
The final hand saw, P Harris calling the all-in of Cavanaugh with pocket nines. Cavanaugh rolled out his Ks-10h on a flop consisting of Ah-Kc-5s. The turn Jh and the river Qd further improved Cavanaugh’s hand, eliminating P Harris in the runner-up place For $23,525. Dustin Cavanaugh has opened his Hendon Mob profile with a title, adding $33,450 to his poker earnings.
