Louisiana-based poker pro Walter Chambers added another accomplishment to his resume, seizing his first-ever PGT title in the final event of the series, Event #10: $5,100 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw. He overcame a field of 28 elite players, displaying his prowess and ultimately earning a $63,000 in top prize. Chambers eventually battled it out with Felipe Ramos, who earned $39,200 for his runner-up finish.
Chambers entered the final table as the short stack but played some aggressive poker, notching up two crucial double-ups to propel him into the chip lead. The final four players battled it hard, providing an action-packed showdown. The chip lead exchanged several times, but a third double-up against Riordan proved a turning point for Chambers. After Jonathan Krela was busted by Felipe Ramos, it came down to the heads-up where Chambers had a 2-to-1 chip deficit.

Hoffman’s success in the series has significantly boosted his career earnings to $587,761, with over two-thirds coming from his Mixed Games Series victories.
