The National Poker Series (NPS) India 2024, India’s premier poker event hosted by PokerBaazi, dazzled with over 2.29 lakh entries and a prize pool exceeding INR 62.5 Crore. The conclusion ceremony of the series, Night of Glory, unfolded in Delhi, where the acclaimed Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, alongside the radiant actress and poker enthusiast Anita Hassanandani, graced the stage to felicitate the talented winners.

National Poker Series 2024 Highlights

Among the top series winners, Deepak Singh from Delhi, who climbed the NPS Podium Leaderboard, was crowned as the gold medalist. Singh’s remarkable NPS performance earned him 3 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal during the event. A huge fan of Yuvraj Singh, Deepak Singh was overjoyed upon receiving the award directly from the renowned cricketer. The fan said that his attendance at the event was motivated by his reverence for Singh, considering it a profound privilege to receive recognition from an individual of his stature.

Abhishek Sonu from Bihar and Samay Singh Modi from Mumbai claimed the silver and bronze medals respectively for their exceptional skills on the NPS felts.

Reflecting on the medal tally, Maharashtra topped the charts with over 100 medal wins, followed closely by Delhi with 81 commendable medals. Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka secured the third, fourth, and fifth spots in the medal tally. Notably, players from tier-II cities such as Imphal, Chamba, Una, and Agra showcased remarkable prowess, leaving an indelible mark on the NPS series.

The Night of Glory was not just about poker prowess; it was a celebration of talent and  entertainment. Stand-up comic Abhishek Upamanyu delivered a stellar performance, evoking laughter and joy, while popular DJ NYK set the stage on fire with electrifying beats. Overall, the event epitomized both grandeur and success, with poker players relishing their well-deserved moment in the spotlight.

Additionally, PokerBaazi pleasantly surprised the attendees by announcing the 2024 edition of its flagship poker tournament, G.O.A.T. The event will boast an astounding INR 25 CRORE GTD prize pool and is set to take place in October 2024, marking the celebration of the company’s 10th anniversary.

The online poker platform also unveiled “The MoneyMaker” for the month of April 2024, promising players a shot at a jaw-dropping 1 Crore prize pool every single day throughout the month.
