WSOP Online Returns to GGPoker with 33 Bracelets and a $25M Main Event

Just days after buying WSOP for $500 million, GGPoker has released the full schedule of the 2024 World Series of Poker Online series. The Annual WSOP Online series will run from August 18th to September 30th. This time around, there are 33 gold bracelets and a whopping $61 million in guaranteed prize pool, making it the biggest WSOP online festival.

GGPoker, which is the largest poker site in the world, will host the online series on its platform at GGPoker.com. United States players are not eligible to play in the series unless they travel to neighboring countries, such as Canada or Mexico.

The poker platform has previously hosted the WSOP Online out of the US, but this year is going to be the biggest year for the WSOP Online, as the Main Event will offer a staggering $25 million in guaranteed prize pool.

GGPoker’s YouTube channel will live stream the final table of the main event with commentary from seven-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, along with Hall of Famer Jeff Gross and others.

Besides the $25 million guaranteed in the main event, two other events will each feature a $10 million guarantee. Event #7, the $215 Mystery Millions, kicks off on August 26 and includes a $1 million top mystery bounty. The festival-closing Event #33, the $10,300 GGMillion$ High Rollers, will take place on September 30.

In 2023, GGPoker introduced the ‘Continental’ freerolls, and they are returning this year with a twist. Players will be assigned to one of four ‘Continental’ pools based on their country of registration. If someone from these four continents—America, Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Asia Pacific—wins a bracelet, all players from that ‘continent’ can enter a follow-up freeroll.

In 2024, GGPoker will add $3 million in these freerolls, now called ‘Continental Flipouts,’ throughout the series. These freerolls will be open to bracelet-event participants who hail from the same continent as the event winners.

“I am thrilled to unveil another exciting year of WSOP Online, said GGPoker Global Ambassador Daniel Negreanu. “This series is not only an opportunity to compete for WSOP Gold Bracelets but also brings players from different regions together to showcase their skills. It’s a unique chance for the global poker community to participate in the most prestigious online series and create truly unforgettable poker experiences!”

The top 10 countries on the WSOP Online point tables will receive an exclusive Bracelet Standing Freerolls, featuring $1 million Gtd, at the end of the series.
