Bounty tournaments are fan favorites among both casual and pros. They are also one of the popular forms of tournament on both live and online poker scenes. They give players a chance to pull out a bigger payout for knocking out.
You are kind of getting paid for knocking out players from the tournament, aside from capturing their chip stacks. These bounties can be anywhere from $1,000 to $1 million in some cases. Sometimes players even tripled their winnings by grabbing massive amounts of bounties.
This didn’t go unnoticed as a majority of premier live poker brands have added Bounty tournaments to their schedule. There is no better feeling than knocking out your opponent at the poker table. Bounty events not only help players to win massive prizes without even reaching the final table but they also reward them with hefty prizes for a single knockout they deliver.
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) events are already exciting but they get even more exhilarating when you knock out your opponent. Keeping this in view, the world’s biggest live brand WSOP has announced an impressive 7 Bounty events for their 2025 WSOP edition.
7 Bounty Tournaments at the 2025 WSOP
Of the 7 Bounty tournaments, one tournament is new, while the other six are returning after the 2024 WSOP. The new Bounty tournament is called Event #87: Super Turbo Bounty NLH with a buy-in of $5k. In this new event, players will receive $1,500 from the prize pool for every player they eliminate. This one-day event will take place on July 8th, with 50k starting stacks. Level duration is 20 minutes, with Late Registration open until 12 levels.

- Event #1: $1,100 NLH Mystery Millions – May 27th
- Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty – June 1st
- Event #34: $1,500 NLH Super Turbo Bounty – June 10th
- Event #72: $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty NLH – June 27th
- Event #86: $1,000 Mystery Bounty PLO – July 8th
- Event #92: $1,979 Hall of Fame Bounty NOH – July 11th
