The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is now in its grand finale stage with the record-breaking main event field of 10,112 entries whittling down to just 9 players led by Jordan Griff.
Several bracelet winners were crowned on Day 48 of the world’s most prestigious series at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Five players began the third and final day of Event #92: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em of the series, including USA’s long-time pro Jared Bleznick, who has recorded three of his four largest career cashes last year. The 2023 Super High Roller Bowl PLO champion entered the event’s final day second in chips, behind Christoph Vogelsang who held the commanding chip lead.
After the dust had settled, iit was Bleznick who emerged victorious from the 178-entry field. He overcame a final table featuring some of the best No-Limit Hold’em players in the world, last defeating rising star Jesse Lonis in heads up to take home $2,037,947 in top prize and his first-ever WSOP bracelet.
WSOP 2024 Event #92: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em Quick Recap
The event ran over the course of three days and drew 187 entries for a prize pool of $8,499,500. The top 27 finishers earned a share, with a min-cash being worth $102,299. Several big names ran deep, including poker’s all-time money leader Bryn Kenney (27th), two-time bracelet winner Chris Brewer (24th), bracelet winner and WPT champion Brek Schutten (16th), four-time bracelet winner David Peters (11th), ten-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel (8th), and PokerStars founder Isai Scheinberg (7th).

The third and final day saw only five players return to the felts, with Christoph Vogelsang in the lead and Bleznick in second chip position. Bleznick scored the first knockout of the day, dominating the A-K suited of two-time bracelet winner Justin Saliba with A-Q. Saliba earned $499,097 for his fifth place.
After losing a big all-in with A-10 against the pocket kings of two-time bracelet winner and rising star Jesse Lonis, Argentina’s Jose ‘Nacho’ Barbero finally got all-in with Q-4 leading the 10-6 of Lonis. The board gave Lonis eights and sixes to bust Barbero’s run in fourth place ($685,405). The next player to fall was the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl champion Christoph Vogelsang. His A-9 ran into the pocket tens of a surging Bleznick. The pocket pair held and Vogelsang exited in third place, earning $957,104.
Bleznick entered the heads-up with a 2:1 chip lead over Lonis and was able to extend his lead a little more before the final hand arrived. Lonis limped from the button with 7s 7h and Bleznick moved all-in with Ac 4c. The board ran out Ah Kd 8d 5s As, giving Bleznick trips to win the coveted pot as well as the title.
From India, the high-stakes pro Santhosh Suvarna entered the tournament but exited it empty-handed.
