It was an incredible week for Indian poker with Indian poker super star Aditya Agarwal finally clinching his maiden bracelet and a whopping $189,661 in top prize money in Event #82: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP). He became the second Indian to win a gold bracelet this summer after Indian high roller Santhosh Suvarna who had won India’s first bracelet of this summer by winning Event #55: $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em for $5,415,152.

While Agarwal’s WSOP victory garnered the most attention, we saw some incredible performances on the virtual felts.  The WSOP bracelet winner Aayush Arya topped the weekly charts with his thumping victory in the Grand Prix Europe 125 on Natural8 India. He pocketed a jaw-dropping INR 21.38 Lakhs in prize money, making the biggest winner of the week.

The majority of top online scorers emerged from Sunday when Agarwal made history in Las Vegas by winning India its second bracelet at the ongoing WSOP 2024. Here is a quick look at top online scores:

Aayush Arya Wins Grand Prix Europe 125 To Emerge Biggest Scorer of The Week

WSOP bracelet winner Aayush Arya’s stunning victory in Natural8 India’s Grand Prix Europe 125 on Sunday night was the biggest win of the week as it earned him a whopping INR 21.38 Lakhs in prize money. The poker prodigy from Delhi also secured two more impressive deep runs, taking his total Sunday winnings to a jaw-dropping INR 21.96 Lakhs and making him the day’s undisputed top scorer.

Sagar Naik, Chetan Jalan & Anay Kumar Singh Score Big in Adda52’s Mega Mega Millions on Sunday

The second biggest score of the week came in Adda52’s 1 Crore GTD Mega Millions, which drew a massive field of massive field of 1,071 entrants over four flights and generated a guarantee-busting prize pool of INR 1,04,58,649, which was finally shared by the top 107 players. The lion’s share eventually went to Sagar Naik who entered the event’s grand finale against 110 of poker’ elite on Sunday and emerged victorious after a four-hour and 44-minute showdown. Qualifying through INR 1,100 satellite, Naik banked INR 14.33 Lakhs after a 3-way deal with Chetan Jalan and Anay Kumar Singh, who took home INR 13.64 Lakhs and 12.90 Lakhs respectively, featuring among the top four scorers of the week.

The INR 11,500 buy-in tourney saw Piyush Ravi defeat a stacked field of 736 entries to emerge victorious and win a life-changing INR 12.47 Lakhs (INR 4.05 Lakhs in bounties).Last Sunday’s BB#1 Sunday Special Grand Loot champion, Raghav Ananth placed second for INR 9.98 Lakhs.

>>The user ‘sd444’ topped a field of 608 to win PokerBaazi’s 50 Lakhs GTD The Summit (DoubleAnte) for INR 8.47 Lakhs to headline Thursday scores. Shravan ‘FishStars’ Chhabria placed runner-up INR 7.78 Lakhs.

 >> Arjanveer Singh ‘holdbaby’ Chadha dominated Wednesday, winning PokerBaazi’s 25 Lakhs GTD Daily High Roller for INR 5 Lakhs. Debneil ‘ChhotaDon’ Mukherjee placed second for 4.13 Lakhs.
