The popular Taiwanese Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association is gearing up to host another massive tournament series, with its Inaugural Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT Championship) at the Asia Poker Arena in the capital city of Taiwan, Taipei.

The TMT Championship will run from October 25th to November 4th, 2024, with several exciting poker events. The 11-day non-stop poker series’s major highlight is the NTD 33,000 (~$1,030) Main Event featuring a guarantee of $600,000, which is 20,000,000 in TWD.

The Main Event Champion will receive a Taiwanese Calocedrus Formosana Trophy and Pure Gold Plate, along with the 1st place prize money. The main event has four starting flights from October 31st to November 2nd, followed by Day 2 action on November 3rd and the final day action on November 4th.

The series is expecting larger turnouts and the operators aren’t leaving any chance to attract players. They are also inviting several Japanese poker players, with 2024 WSOP Ladies Champion Shiina Okamoto and APT Ambassador Kurusu Usako being confirmed to take part in the TMT Championship.

The series features several low buy-in satellite events to get a seat in the main event. Additionally, the series has 30 trophy events, including the Taipei Cup Mystery Bounty event, a Mini Main Event, a Kick-off event, and of course, High Roller tournaments.
