Meet Pradip Ghosh, a prominent name in India’s poker landscape with multiple final table finishes in live tournaments and an impressive record online. Known for his relentless dedication, determination and passion for the game, he has accumulated over ₹8.7 crores in online earnings, securing 156 titles since turning a professional poker player in late 2021.
Hailing from Durgapur, Pradip Ghosh first came across poker in 2012 during his professional trip to Chicago. Introduced to this beautiful game by his colleague, quickly got hooked on the game and started playing the game on Zynga Poker to understand and practice the game. What began just as recreational and casual play soon turned into a serious passion for him, and by the end of 2021, he started playing the mind sport professionally.
Although Pradip is primarily known for his online exploits, he has an impressive live poker resume with over six final table finishes. Notable live poker achievements include a stellar 7th place finish for ₹210,000 in the No Limit Hold’em 50K Event at the 2023 WPT Prime India. He also ran deep in the 2023 WPT Prime India Main Event, finishing 34th for ₹226,000.
Today, Pradip stands as one of the top MTT crushers in India’s poker scene and continues to go from strength to strength in his poker journey. A qualifier-represent of Gujarat Falcons at the Pocket52 PSL Season 6, he recently made headlines for winning Adda52’s Godfather for a second time and scoring final table finishes in several other marquee events on Adda52 and PokerBaazi – both prominent online poker platforms in India.
