The £1,100 buy-in GUKPT Grand Final Main Event registered a total of 395 entries, nearly doubling the £250,000 guarantee, taking it to £415,620. As the field narrowed, 50 players made it to the money, locking up a mini-cash of £2,370.
The final table was formed on Day 3, with Qing Zheng leading the pack, and Campbell being the mid-pack. 2010 GUKPT Manchester Main Event Champion Kuljinder Sidhu who was the second in chip lead, dominated the table with his talent and experience. Campbell climbed his middling stack, playing some top-notch poker. He then moved into the heads-up by eliminating Philip Corion in 3rd.
The heads-up was fast and furious, as Campbell got back-to-back kings to deny Sidhu his second Main Event trophy. Before the final hand, Sidhu ran his ace-ten into pocket kings of Campbell, which left him with a few big blinds. The final hand saw Sidhu open shove holding queen-jack and Campbell called rolling out his pocket kings. The board ran in favor of Campbell, locking up his career-best payday of £89,000. Sidhu received £66,200, pushing his live career earnings past $4.5 million.

2024 German Poker Days Finds A Winner in Marek Šulc
The €199 buy-in German Poker Days held at the Rozvadov poker room attracted a total of 2,358 entries, creating a total prize pool of €385,674. Out of 2,358 entries, 197 players ended up cashing, with the owner collecting €61,000. The final table was formed on the final day, with the local player Sulc leading the table.
When the field was down to five, they opted for an ICM deal splitting the remaining payouts, now fighting for the Trophy and the title. The heads-up match kicked off between Sulc and Spanish player Kikito Mala Uva. In the beginning, Sulc held 15 BBs against the 24 BBs of Uva. However, the local pro overcame the lead. On the final hand, Sulc beat the eight-nine of Uva with his king-six. Sulc added €45,960 to his bankroll, while Uva took home €45.840.

2024 THMC Cape Town Million Final Table Recap
The Hendon Mob Championship Cape Town Million at the GrandWest Casino, attracted 299 entries across two starting flights, generating a ZAR 2,009,280 (~$111,193) prize pool. Only 39 players advanced to Day 2, all vying for a pay jump and the massive Hendon Mob trophy.
SunBet Time Square Champion Sugen Singh led the final table, followed by The Hendon Mob Malta Champ Florian Bock, and Gani among the short stack. Gani overcame his short stack, and started the three-handed play, eliminating Renier Britz in 4th.
