Joshi did not stop there. He outperformed 623 competitors to secure the 87th spot in the Turbo NLH Championship 2500, earning INR 5.38 Lakhs. He also placed 164th out of a massive field of 1,437 in the MONSTER STACK 1500 on Natural8 India, pocketing INR 3.08 Lakhs. These performances not only highlight Joshi’s strategic brilliance but also solidify his status as one of India’s top online poker players.
Tarun Goyal’s Winning Streak
Another player making headlines is Tarun Goyal from Bathinda, Punjab. Fresh off two jaw-dropping eight-figure scores last week, including an iconic INR 1.09 Crore WSOP Online Bracelet victory, Goyal continued his impressive run. On Monday, he came close to winning another bracelet, finishing 9th in Natural8 India’s WSOP Online Event #6 $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em, which earned him INR 32.45 Lakhs. Additionally, he placed 62nd in the Mystery Millions 215, bringing his total Monday earnings to a remarkable INR 39.13 Lakhs.
Goyal kept up his winning streak throughout the week, earning INR 3.06 Lakhs from two strong performances on Thursday. This pushed his annual earnings to a staggering INR 3.48 Crores. After a brief three-day hiatus, Goyal returned to claim the Daily Main Event 250 title on Natural8 India, adding another INR 25.47 Lakhs to his bankroll. He also ran deep in the Mini Main Event NLH 500, bringing his Monday earnings to an impressive INR 26.78 Lakhs. With his latest scores, Goyal’s annual earnings have reached INR 3.78 Crores, placing him in close contention with Neel Joshi in the Player of the Year race.
