He made headlines most recently by bagging his first-ever U Series of Poker title at the recently concluded USOP Event #49: VN₫ 4 Million Hyper Turbo. He outlasted a field of 85 players, consisting of 115 total entries to walk away with the VN₫ 112 Million (~₹3.81 Lakhs) top prize.
Notably, this marked Deepankur’s fourth live title of the year. He’s been on a winning spree this year, winning four live titles already with three more months of the year to go. He started his streak in April by taking down the VIPT Hanoi Event #11: Vietnam Open and pocketed a career-best ₹41.41 Lakh.
While on his trip to Las Vegas for the 2024 WSOP in July 2024, the Gurgaon player added two more victories to his name. He first won the Wynn Las Vegas $200 NLHE for $3,492 and later followed that up with a triumph in the Venetian DeepStack Championship Poker Series $600 NLHE Epic Stack for a handsome $10,247.

Deepankur Gupta made his debut at the World Series of Poker and recorded two impressive cashes in his first year. He put two cashes for a total earning of $5,102 at the 55th WSOP in Las Vegas.
These two cashes included a 1236th place finish for $ 3,000 at WSOP $ 1,500 No Limit Hold’em – Millionaire Maker (Bracelet Event #54), followed by a 599th place finish at WSOP $ 1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Mini Main Event – Freezeout (Bracelet Event #78), wherein he cashed $ 2,102.

Deepankur Gupta has been playing live poker since 2022 and has accumulated a total of $114,332 in live poker earnings so far. His best cash to date has been $49,525, which he recently banked after taking down the ₫ 8,000,000 + 800,000 No Limit Hold’em – Vietnam Open event at the Vietnam International Poker Tour – VIPT Hanoi in Hanoi, Vietnam.
According to Hendon Mob, Deepankur Gupta ranks 27,415th on the global All Time Money List and 105th on India’s All Time Money List.

Talking of his online exploits in the domestic poker circuit, Deepankur boasts of a lifetime total of ₹7.39 Crore and as many as 124 titles to his name.
His largest cash online to date has been ₹18,45,871 which he won back in January 2023 on online poker platform Adda52 by taking down the Top Liners, coming on top of a total 97 entries.
