With a little under $50,000 in her stack and time running out, Newhouse took a do-or-die approach in the final 30 hands of the session. She started off strong, winning a decent-sized pot and edged into a small profit. Her turning point came when she straddled with 2c3c and faced Dave Krosky, who called with 9-7 off-suit.
