Laksh Pal Singh The Circuit Champion

Laksh Pal Singh’s path to victory in The Circuit Season 1 was marked by consistent performances across several episodes. Although he didn’t win any individual episodes, his remarkable deep runs in key tournaments earned him enough points to secure a seat at the grand finale.

Singh began his campaign with a runner-up finish in Episode 1, where he lost the top spot to Jasven Saigal but earned 120 points for his second-place performance. He continued his impressive run in Episode 4, finishing third and adding another 30 points to his tally. A fourth-place finish in Episode 6 secured 10 more points, bringing his total to 160 and confirming his spot at the final table.

At the  final table in the grand finale, Singh faced Jasven Saigal, Rubin Labroo, Navkiran Singh, Paawan Bansal, and Thiyam Dannish and managed outshine all of them to win the title. The action was intense, with only the top 3 spots earning payouts.

The Circuit Final Table Recap

Rubin Labroo was the first to be eliminated from the final table. Labroo couldn’t overcome his short stack and was eliminated by Navkiran Singh, who caught a runner-runner flush on the board, sending Labroo out in 6th place. Navkiran Singh played some top-notch poker; however, he couldn’t crack the A♠ A♠ of Thiyam Dannish, busting out in 5th place.

Dannish continued his domination and knocked out Paawan Bansal. Bansal went all in holding 6♦ 6♦, only to run into the A♠ K♥ of Dannish. The board brought ace and king, giving Dannish a superior two pair, eliminating Bansal in 4th place and taking a massive chip lead.

Dannish’s lead didn’t last long as he lost his stack to Jasven Saigal. Meanwhile, Laksh Pal Singh, a short stack at the table, doubled up through Dannish. Shortly after, Dannish went all in holding K♦ J♥, and Singh called with Ah A♣. The board ran 5♥ 2♥ 4♥ 10♠ K♥, giving Singh the nut flush and eliminating Dannish in 3rd place for INR 5 Lakhs.

Heading into heads-up play, Singh held almost a 5:1 chip advantage over Saigal. The heads-up duel lasted only two hands, as Saigal jammed for his tournament life with J♦ 9♦, and Singh called with 6♠ 6♣. Singh flopped a full house on the board to clinch the staggering INR 15 Lakhs prize money, while Saigal had to settle for INR 8 Lakhs as the runner-up finisher.
