Female pro and four-time GPI Female Poker of the Year Award winner Kristen Foxen has announced that she’s joining WePoker, an Asian online poker platform. Foxen, known for her fierce poker play and impressive run, will now be the ambassador of this Asia’s prominent poker platform.

Two days after announcing the news, Foxen claimed her third career PGT trophy of 2025 by winning the 2025 U.S. Poker Open Opening Event. Here’s a short recap of what’s turning out to be an epic week for Foxen.

Kristen Foxen Becomes An Ambassador of WePoker

WePoker is an online poker site that reportedly shares its player pool with WPT Global — currently the second-largest online poker site in the world. Foxen announced the news of her signing the platform as an ambassador on her Twitter/X account, revealing WePoker as Asia’s number one poker platform and praising its advanced security system.

Foxen isn’t the only ambassador of WePoker, as WPT Global ambassador Phil Ivey is also a longtime representative of the site. Phil Ivey has reportedly been part of WePoker’s ambassador roster since late 2023. Foxen’s tweet indicates that the poker site is mainly focusing on the Chinese poker market rather than the Global market.

Kristen Foxen Ships 2025 USPO Event #1 For Third PGT Title

Following her announcement as WePoker’s newest ambassador, Kristen Foxen went on to secure her third career PGT title of 2025 by winning Event #1 of the U.S. Poker Open at ARIA Las Vegas. Foxen earned an impressive $158,025 for her victory and the USPO trophy. With her recent win, Foxen is now close to crossing $10 million in tournament earnings, further cementing her position as one of the best female players in the game.

The opening event of the 2025 U.S. Poker Open saw 129 players pay $5,100 to enter, generating a total prize pool of $645K, shared among the top 19 finishers. Foxen looked a little far from victory during the three-handed action, entering as the table short stack. However, she overcame the disadvantage following an intense back-and-forth battle. The three-handed action lasted quite long and featured some of the best poker moments. After the long exchange, Foxen took the chip lead and eliminated Francis Anderson in 3rd place, who earned a payday of $70,950.

She entered heads-up play with a four-to-one chip advantage. The final hand saw Liu move all-in with king-jack against Foxen’s ace-seven of hearts. The board brought hearts, completing an ace-high flush for Kristen Foxen and knocking out Ping Liu as the runner-up. Liu banked $96,750 for his impressive performance.
