Jesse Lonis outlasted a field of 129 entries in Triton Poker SHRS Montenegro Event #5: $40K Mystery Bounty, clinching his second career Triton title and a payout of $619,000. With this victory, Lonis has pushed his total live tournament earnings past $16.7 million, solidifying his position on New York’s all-time money list. It’s just been five months in 2025, and Lonis has already won four poker titles and scored 12 final table finishes.
The $40,000 buy-in Mystery Bounty event saw a total of 129 entries, creating a prize pool of $5,160,000 (including bounties). Only the top 22 finishers made the money, a list that featured familiar names like Jason Koon, Artur Martirosyan, Christoph Vogelsang, Mikita Badziakouski, and many others.
Triton Ambassador Daniel Tang finished in 4th place, earning $229,000 and setting up the three-handed battle. Nick Petrangelo bowed out in 3rd place, collecting $278,000, while Barak Wisbrod went heads-up against Lonis for the title. Wisbrod ultimately finished runner-up, earning $422,000. Lonis was crowned champion, taking home $619,000 plus $480,000 in bounty payouts for his dominating knockouts.

Seth Davies Claims His First Triton Poker Title In $50K No-Limit Hold’em
Seth Davies, long known for his deep runs and major victories on the American poker circuit, has earned his first-ever Triton Poker title. He triumphed in Event #6: $50K No-Limit Hold’em (8-Handed) at Triton Poker SHRS Montenegro, securing a massive payout of $1,490,741 and the prestigious Triton trophy. With this win, Davies has now surpassed $34 million in lifetime earnings, further cementing his 15th-place standing on the United States all-time money list.
The $50,000 buy-in event drew 143 entries, generating a $7,150,000 prize pool, which was paid out to the top 23 finishers. The field was stacked with top-tier talent, including Vladimir “Gambledore” Korzinin (18th), Dan Smith (11th), Stephen Chidwick (10th), and Alex Foxen (9th).
British pro Jules Dickerson reached the podium, taking home $751,000 and setting up heads-up play. During the final duel, Davies and Danilo Velasevic agreed to an ICM deal, locking up seven-figure payouts each. Davies went on to win the first hand after the deal, officially claiming the Triton title along with an additional $54,000 and the trophy.

Kevin Li Becomes First WSOP Bracelet Winner of 2025
We are just a few days from the World Series of Poker 2025, and have already gotten the first bracelet winner of 2025. 23-year-old Kevin Li took down the WSOP Tournament of Champions freeroll event, earning his first WSOP gold bracelet.
Li qualified for the prestigious invitational event by winning the $600 NLH/PLO Mix Event during the 2024 WSOP International Circuit at Deerfoot Inn & Casino, where he also secured his first WSOP Circuit ring.
The freeroll ran from May 15 to 17 at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. All 2024 WSOP Season bracelet and circuit ring winners were eligible to compete. Out of 1,169 qualified players, the event attracted 485 entries, competing for a share of the $1 million prize pool.
The final table featured several well-known players, including 2024 WPT World Champion Scott Stewart (9th) and 2023 WPT World Champion Daniel Sepiol (4th). Li defeated veteran poker pro Shawn Rice in heads-up play, clinching his first gold bracelet and a six-figure score of $200k.
