Early Life and Poker Introduction

Born on 6 February 1992, Mikita Badziakouski was a born gaming enthusiast. Since childhood, Badziakouski has been interested in mind sports and gaming. “When I was 5 years old, I started learning chess and when I got to 10 I was already spending hours playing card games,” Badziakouski said. 

He began sports betting at 12. It became his primary hobby until he found poker at 16. “I could certainly say that since I was a kid, my biggest passions were intellectual rivalry and gambling,” Badziakouski said in an interview “I was due to become obsessed with the game(poker).” His journey in poker started when he saw episodes of the World Series of Poker Main Event.

He started playing poker online and quickly built a bankroll playing lower stakes. By the time he was 18, he was already crushing online and took one step further by beginning his live poker career.

Early Career (2010–2016)

Mikita Badziakouski began his live poker career at the age of 18 in 2010. His first recorded live cash came with a 4th place finish at the Russian Poker Tour (RPT) in Kiev, earning $5,610. He followed this with a runner-up finish at the PokerStars Russian Poker Series $1k NLH event, adding $18,850 to his bankroll.

In 2011, Badziakouski achieved a notable 2nd place finish at the RPT Kiev $2,500 Main Event, securing a $66,800 payday. After a brief hiatus from live poker between 2012 and 2014, he returned in 2015 with a focus on high-stakes tournaments. That year, he played in major events at the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Barcelona, Monte Carlo, and Malta, earning over $100,000 in total. His highlight was a final table finish in the €5k NLH Turbo 6 Max at EPT Barcelona, where he cashed $38,413.

In 2016, he scored his first six-figure payday at the EPT Monte Carlo €49k Super High Roller, winning $240,925. He followed this with a runner-up finish at the €100k Monte-Carlo One Drop High Roller for $550,412 and a 6th place finish at the Asia Championship of Poker HK$500k NLH Super High Roller for $193,016.

Badziakouski captured his first live poker title in 2017, winning the Aussie Millions A$50k NLH Shot Clock Six Max for $133,062. That year, he also triumphed in the HK$500k NLH Super High Roller at the MBP Spring Challenge Macau, earning $420,255.

His major success came at the WSOP Europe €111k High Roller for One Drop, where he finished 3rd, pocketing $1,772,822 — his first seven-figure score.

The year 2018 marked his true breakthrough. He won his first Triton Poker title in Montenegro, earning $2.5 million in the HK$1 million NLH SHR Main Event. He followed this with a 4th place finish at the Super High Roller Bowl IV for $1.6 million and claimed another Triton title in Jeju, where he took home $5.26 million. Badziakouski capped off the year with a victory at EPT Barcelona’s €100k SHR for $1.91 million.

Between 2019 and 2021, Badziakouski continued to excel, capturing multiple Triton and high roller titles, including his first WSOP bracelet in the $50k NLH High Roller event in 2021, which earned him $1.46 million.

Continued Success (2022–2024)

As live poker returned in 2022, Badziakouski’s dominance in high rollers resumed. He won his fourth Triton Poker title at the Madrid €50k NLH 7 Handed for $1.4 million and followed it with a victory at EPT Barcelona, earning $2.03 million.

In 2023, he achieved his career-best win at the WPT Big One for One Drop in Las Vegas, earning $7.11 million.

The year 2024 started strong for Badziakouski, with his fifth Triton Poker title at the Jeju $100k NLH Short Deck, earning $1.15 million. Additional deep runs included a 5th place finish at the Triton Montenegro $200k NLH for $1.4 million and an 8th place finish at the WSOP $250k NLH Super High Roller for $629,407.
