Nikhil Arcot, well known as Nik Airball, is a poker player who mostly competes in live cash game poker. He is widely known for his aggressive play and knack of bluffing. Nik Airball came to the poker limelight in 2022 for his aggressive and loose play at the live cash game table of Hustler Casino Live.

Although it’s arguable whether Nik Airball is a good poker player, he is a fun player to watch at the table and has built a reputation and massive net worth by playing both live and online poker. Originating from Mumbai in India, Nik was introduced to poker at a very young age in high school by his parents who were also avid poker players. Airball honed his poker skills during his college years and quickly rose to prominence as one of the top players on his campus. While we could not find enough information on his educational background, he studied finance at New York University before embarking on a career as an investment banker. While he was pretty successful in the financial sector, his love and passion for poker eventually led him to quit his job and pursue a career in the game he cherishes the most.

Airball kicked off her career in 2022 by playing at the Hustler Casino. Reports also claimed that before playing at live tables, Airball used to play private games. Through that, he made his name to get an invitation to play at the Hustler Casino. 

Nik’s HendonMob page does not have much to show in terms of his live tournament earnings due to him being exclusively a cash-game player. Nevertheless, he competed in the 2023 WPT World Championship but ended up in 214th place to bank $20,700. Although it’s hard to know how much Airball has earned from live cash games because cash game players lose and win every week. As tracked by High Roller Poker, Airball currently has a net winnings of $594,335. 

Airball made big headlines for setting the record in 2022 for the biggest pot won on Hustler Casino Live, which at that time was $870k. His recent cashes include $118,200 in Season 5 Episode 2 of No Gamble No Future and over $600k from Season 12 of PokerGo’s High Stakes Poker. Nik Airball is currently competing in season 13 of High Stakes Poker, but unfortunately, he lost around $720k against Andrew Robl in the latest episode.

While Nik Airball has won a lot of money in poker, he is a wise investor. He has wisely invested in stocks, real estate and various businesses, which have contributed significantly to his net worth. In a podcast with Nick Vertucci, Airball answered a question on how much money he had lost in his recent downswing? He said that he had lost around $8 million. This took the internet by storm, and ignited several discussions on poker forms.
