Anurag Rawat is making waves in both the live and online poker arena. Known by ‘Krifard’ on the virtual felts, Rawat recently secured the biggest win of his career, earning ₹12.31 Lakhs after taking down the Mini Thursday Throwdown Bounty 15 on Natural8 India. In this report, we will dive deep into Anurag Rawat’s poker journey, from online exploits to winning an APT title. 

Anurag Rawat’s Poker Journey and Milestones

Rawat started the game playing recreationally and secured his first live cash back in 2013, according to the Hendon Mob. He placed third in the India Poker Series 19 ₹10K buy-in NLH Double Chance, claiming a ₹50K payday. Following a long break, he returned to the live scene in 2024, staging a remarkable comeback with two cashes, including a victory in Hyper Turbo at the APT Phu Quoc, which earned him a beautiful APT Trophy and VND 66,748,000 ($ 2,631).

Rawat didn’t take poker seriously until 2018, when he recorded his first online cash on Adda52. He continued playing and securing small cashes, but it wasn’t until late 2019 that Rawat started scoring big. That year, he finished 4th in the FRI-YAY 10 LAC GTD event on PokerBaazi, earning ₹73,640.

Rawat’s first six-figure score came in January 2020, when he finished runner-up in Adda52’s Godfather , securing an impressive ₹4.18 Lakhs. From that moment, he never looked back, consistently delivering top-notch performances with cashes and victories in online events on various platforms. Later that year, he finished 3rd in the AOPS Hold’em High on Adda52 for another six-figure score of ₹1.65 Lakhs.

2020 turned out to be Rawat’s breakthrough year, as he recorded multiple six-figure scores on Adda52. That year, he achieved another four major six-figure finishes.

  • Godfather – 2nd place – ₹4.18 Lakhs
  • AOPS Hold’em High – 3rd place – ₹1.65 Lakhs
  • 2.5 Cr AOPS ME Final – 24th place – ₹1 Lakh
  • Adda52 Millions – 3rd place – ₹3 Lakhs
  • The Mint – 2nd place – ₹2.25 Lakhs
  • Hijack Huskies – 2nd place – ₹1.45 Lakhs
  • The Ballers – 3rd place – ₹2.54 Lakhs

In 2021, Rawat continued his strong run, taking down PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour 12 LAC GTD for ₹2.84 Lakhs. He then triumphed in SpartanPoker’s IOPC All Rounder 10 LAC GTD, earning ₹1.90 Lakhs. That same year, he secured his first Adda52 title, winning La Luna for ₹1.01 Lakhs. His biggest score of 2021 came when he finished 5th in the WCS #37 Sunday Superstack 35 LAC GTD on SpartanPoker, banking ₹2.39 Lakhs.

2023 and 2024: A Shift to Live Poker

In 2023, Rawat won the Dynamite DST 10 LAC GTD for ₹1.28 Lakhs on SpartanPoker. He also secured his second Endeavour title, winning the Endeavour 20 LAC GTD for ₹3.10 Lakhs.

In 2024, Rawat returned to the live poker scene, participating in the Asian Poker Tour Phu Quoc. His decision paid off as he clinched his first live poker title, winning Event #81 NLH Hyper Turbo for ₹2.22 Lakhs and securing a prestigious APT trophy.

Biggest Career Win in 2025

Anurag Rawat continues to make waves in the world of poker.  Most recently in the ongoing month, Rawat achieved the biggest victory of his career, emerging victorious from a massive field of 11,602  entries in the Mini Thursday Throwdown Bounty 15 on Natural8 India, earning a career-high ₹12.31 Lakhs and proving his strategic prowess across high stakes and massive-field  tournaments. With this win, Rawat took his online poker titles tally to 50 and pushed his lifetime poker earnings past ₹1.10 Crores. 

What Makes Him a Rising Star

Considering his recent performances across major live and online events, his consistency and growing recognition in the Indian poker community, he is for sure a rising star of Indian poker. He is definitely a player to watch out for in 2025 and it will be exciting to see how he fares ahead at the poker felts.
