The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2024 ended on a high note. This year’s edition was a thrilling spectacle including high-octane competition and extraordinary skills. The series culminated in impressive earnings for its top performers. 

This year the series collected a mammoth $437.2 million in prize money that was generated across 99 live bracelet events. Likewise, the series saw numerous players taking home impressive amounts as prize winnings. 

The winners took home handsome amounts, meanwhile several others cashed in the events too. This year 2024 WSOP saw 47 players cash $1,000,000 and above. Among these, only four players pocketed more than $5,000,000. The top three earners on WSOP 2024’s highest cashes list took home a minimum of $6,000,000. 

These top three earners differentiated themselves showing remarkable consistency, strategic gameplay, and significant cash wins. Their achievements not only shed light on their individual talents but also underscored the intense level and scale of competition seen at the WSOP 2024. 

Each of these three players made their way through massive fields and highly competitive events to claim their spots in the series. The top three earners at WSOP 2024:

Jonathan Tamayo – $10,018,710

The WSOP 2024 champion, the Main Event winner not only etched his name as the WSOP 2024 Main Event champion but also as the highest earner of WSOP 2024. Apart from the Main Event, the USA-based player cashed in five other events. In total he cashed at six events collecting $10,018,710 in total.

His biggest cash was obviously the WSOP Event #81: $10,000 MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, from which he pocketed the lion’s share of $10,000,000. The second highest cash came from Event #12: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em (6-Handed), wherein he finished 44th for $9,718. The third best cash of Jonathan Tamayo was $3,150, which he cashed for his 1004th place for Event #54: $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold’em.

The next best was his first cash at the series at Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions No-Limit Hold’em, wherein he finished at the 1084th place for a paycheque of $2,638. At Event #64: $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack he recorded a 305th place finish for a sum of $1,749. Lastly, his least winning came from the Event #62: $600 PokerNews Deepstack Championship No-Limit Hold’em wherein Jonathan Tamayo pocketed $1,453 for his 366th place finish.

Santhosh Suvarna – $6,055,453

India’s Santhosh Suvarna made big waves at the WSOP 2024, making the country proud and putting India on the poker map. This guy had everyone talking after he took down the most expensive event on the WSOP 2024 schedule – the Super High Roller. Obviously the Super High Roller win fetched him a humongous paycheque, however, he also cashed at four other events. He collected a total of $6,055,453 from his five ITM finishes. 

His biggest cash was at Event #55: $250,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em, which he shipped for $5,415,152. His second-best cash was from the final table of Event #79: $50,000 HIGH ROLLER Pot-Limit Omaha. Here he finished 5th for a paycheque of $503,085. 

The third best was at Event #21: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em (6-Handed), wherein he pocketed $79,084 for his thirteenth-place finish. His 607th place finish at Event #81: $10,000 MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship fetched him $30,000, while $28,132, which he won at Event #76: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (8-Handed) after finishing 39th was his smallest cash.

Jordan Griff – $6,002,004

At third place in the list of highest earners from WSOP 2024 is USA-based pro Jordan Griff. Interestingly, Jordan Griff did not win a single tournament on the WSOP 2024 schedule, yet managed to sit with the third highest prize amount, thanks to his runner-up finish at the WSOP 2024 Main Event. Jordan Griff walked away with a total wealth of $6,002,004 from just two in the money (ITM) finishes. 

His best cash was of course his second place finish at Event #81: $10,000 MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship. Jordan Grif cashed $6,000,000 from this event alone. His second cash was at Event #82: $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em, wherein he took the 175th place for a payday of $2,004.
