Exclusive: Poker Dream Host Grant Gardner Talks Poker, Live Hosting & Mindset Coaching

Meet Grant Gardner, a multi-faceted personality who resonates powerfully in the Asian poker community and other parts of the world. As Asia’s leading mindset coach, Poker Dream Live host and a highly talented poker player with more than $318k in live tournament earnings, Gardner has carved out a unique place for himself in the world of poker.

Grant Gardner As A Poker Player, Mindset Coach and Poker Dream Host

Grant Gardner’s poker journey started at a very young age as he started playing the game at the age of just 15 in 2007. Seven years later, after graduating himself in Sports Science and Psychology in 2014, he decided to move to Thailand to play the game professionally. This was where he discovered the transformative potential of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He quickly fell in love and became an NLP Master Practitioner. As a mindset coach, he now uses this as a tool to refine his own mindset and his clients’ in poker fraternity. With his mindset coaching, he aims to help players to play their A-game and achieve peak performance at the tables.

Apart from being a celebrated mindset coach, Gardner is a highly talented poker player with a remarkable resume boasting a live title and several final table scores at prestigious events like Asia Poker Tour, World Poker Championship, Asia Pacific Poker Tour, Poker Dream, etc. His first live cash came at the Dusk Till Dawn Grand Prix in Nottingham in 2011 and since then, he has scored over 15 final table finishes,  including a runner-up finish in the Super High Rollers at APT Vietnam Ho Chi Minh in 2022 and a 6th place finish in the WPC Main Event in Hanoi in 2023. 

Grant Gardner’s career-best live cash of $125,770 came in June last year for a sixth-place finish in the $2,200 Mystery Bounty at the Wynn Summer Classic. Most recently, he final-tabled the Influencer Invitational of the ongoing Poker Dream 15, which was won by Lim Chui Yee for RM 10,000.

Beyond the poker felts, Grant Gardner is a highly energetic and engaging host for PokerDream Live. He brings charisma and insights to this popular live event, engaging audiences with his unmatched energy, expertise and charismatic personality. Gardner is currently carrying out hosting responsibilities for the ongoing Poker Dream 15  in Malaysia.
