The Global Poker Index (GPI) Rankings are a handy and comprehensive tool to assess the performance and skill of poker players around the world. It awards players with certain points based on their performance and results in recent live poker events.

These rankings highlight the top talents in European poker who have been acing their game recently, thus giving an overview of their achievements across numerous high-stakes tournaments. As expected the GPI Rankings for Europe feature a competitive field, including some of the most renowned names as well as the lesser known players who have been doing exceptionally well.

Leading the GPI Rankings for Europe currently is well-known poker pro Stephen Chidwick with 3,911.17 GPI points to his credit. Apart from ranking first on the European list, Stephen Chidwick ranks at the fourth place in the global GPI rankings. He has been holding fourth place for more than 7 weeks now.
Stephen Chidwick is currently grinding at the ongoing World Series of Poker 2024 at Bally’s Casino in Las Vegas. He recently recorded a WSOP cash too at No Limit Hold’em – 8-Handed (Bracelet Event #16) finishing 114th out of 823 entries for a sum of $9,964.
Prior to WSOP 2024, the high-stakes pro was seen grinding and cashing at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Montenegro in May 2024. He recorded a total of five cashes including three final table finishes at the series.
Behind Stephen Chidwick is another well known pro Adrian Mateos at the second place with 3,874.97 points. At the third spot is Artur Martirosyan with 3,676.24 GPI points. Notably these are the only three European players among the top 10 global GPI rankings.
At the fourth and fifth spot are Alex Kulev and Roman Hrabec with 3,563.28 and 3,393.96 points respectively.
