Day 1 of DPT Grand Mystery Bounty Concludes With Ashwin Vijay Leading The Pack

Following 15 twenty-five minutes levels of play, Day 1 of the DPT Grand Mystery Bounty concludes with the initial field of 137 entries whittling down to over 27 players. Leading the pack is Ashwin Vijay who bagged massive a stack of 276k. Following him closely are Kishore Kumar (272k), Basant Singh (204k) and Raman Dixit (198k). Myron Perira, opened to 8k from the Hijack, and Thakur Anand Mohan Singh jammed his 47,000 stacks. Myron called, holding Qh-Qd against the Jd-Jh of Mohan Singh.

The board brought 10c-8h-10h-4c-4d. Myron’s pocket queen held up, sending Mohan Singh to the rail.


Vikram ‘Lungi’ Kumar Busted

Blinds: 2,000-4,000

Ante: 4,000

The short-stacked Vikram ‘Lungi’ Kumar  shoved all in from mid position with 18,500. Amit Kaushik called from the small blind. 

Lungi revealed, 6h-6c while Kaushik turned over 7c-Ad. 

The board ran out 7d-2d-Qc-Kh-Jc, and Kaushik won the hand with his pair of seven, busting ‘Lungi’ in the process. 


Shardul P Eliminated

Under the gun, Shardul P. moved all-in with 19,000 stacks holding As-Qh. Naveen Kumar from the big blind, jammed with 26,000, holding 10c-10s. 

The board fell out, 6c-10h-5h-7c-Kc, giving Kumar the pot and knocking Shardul out. 

Abhishek Ramesh Knocks out One

Under the Gun player, Abhishek Ramesh pushed all in with 42,000 stacks with 8c-8s. Mid position player, Pukhraj Singh called holding Js-Jh, while Sriram Subramanian moved all-in from the cutoff with Qs-Qh. 

The flop came out, 5c-4s-6d giving Ramesh a straight draw. Unfortunately, the turn card came Ah and the river fell out 5d. Sriram Subramanian took the Main Pot, with two pairs, while Pukhraj Singh took the side pot with the help from his pocket jacks.

On the button, Ashish sharma shoved 31,000 with A♦6♦, and short-stacked Gunisha Sinha put the last of her chips in the middle, holding 7♦6♥.

The board fell out 8♦3♥J♦10♠6♣. Despite both players hitting a six on the river, Ashish sharma’s ace kicker sent Sinha to the rail.


Praful Bows Out

Praful, from the big blind, went all-in with his 37,000 stacks, holding 5♦5♣. Deepak Singh called from the small blind with A♣2♦.

Nikhil Eliminate in a Three-Way Action

The excitement is in the air for the much-anticipated Mystery Bounty of the DPT Grand 2024 edition, starting today at 5 PM. The buy-in is set at ₹40,000, and players will begin with a 25,000 stack, with blinds starting at 100-100 and a 100 ante. Day 1 of the second event of the series will feature 25-minute levels, playing through until the start of Level 16, with late registration open until the start of Level 10. 

This unique bounty format promises a thrilling twist, with mystery bounties adding an extra layer of excitement as players battle for both chips and secret rewards! The tournament continues with Day 2 on 23rd October, featuring 30-minute levels until the heads-up stage, where the pace picks up with 15-minute blinds.
