With a stunning cash prize of ₹14,17,691 and the prestigious bracelet in hand, Jagdeep’s triumph is one for the poker history books.
Jagdeep Singh’s journey was nothing short of remarkable. He started the final table with a middling stack but quickly demonstrated his mastery of the game, showcasing strategic brilliance and fierce determination. Over the course of the final table, he eliminated over four players, paving his way to the ultimate showdown.
In the climactic heads-up battle, Jagdeep faced off against Kapil Garg, who put up a valiant fight but ultimately fell short, taking home a respectable ₹10,49,298 as the runner-up.
The final hand was nothing short of dramatic. Jagdeep, with his 9♣ 7♦, made a bold move, shoving his massive stack. Kapil, left with just 1,150,000, made the call, revealing his Q♦ J♥.

The prestigious DPT Freezeout Championship kicks off on October 23rd at 1 PM, featuring a ₹50,000 buy-in for a chance to win one of the coveted bracelet titles. This classic freezeout format is a true test of poker skills—no re-buys, just pure strategy! Players will begin with a 50,000 starting stack, blinds set at 100-100 with a 100 ante, and 30-minute levels throughout Day 1. Late registration is available until the start of Level 12, so there’s plenty of time for players to join the action.
Day 2 on October 24th will see the finalists battling it out with 40-minute levels until the final table and quick-fire 15-minute levels for the heads-up showdown.
