The global poker scene is buzzing with high-octane poker action with several prestigious live events running across the world. One of the key events to conclude at 2024 Grosvenor UK Poker Open was the £440 Mystery Bounty, which drew in a field of 426 players and saw James Broderick take down the coveted title. With the win, Broderick added £22,000 to his live earnings of $65,954. David Johnson placed runner-up and walked away with £12,460 for his remarkable performance.

The mystery bounties came into play when the field whittled down to just 54 players. Everyone who made this far was guaranteed a hefty cash prize. While  Broderick won the title, he earned less than Indian-origin player Ravi Sheth, known for his back-to-back wins at the 2023 GUKPT London £340 Mini Main Event and £560 Midi Main Event last August. Despite finishing in tenth place, he was the event’s top earner with nine mystery bounties to his name. Sheth took home a staggering £22,500 in bounties alone.
