The month of February is turning out to be a blockbuster month with several prestigious live poker events happening across various parts of the world. Over the last few months, we have seen several big events crown their champions. At the WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Pompano Beach Main Event, 66-year-old Arthur Peacock claimed his first circuit ring and a $230,794 payday. 

Meanwhile, Tobias Schwecht triumphed in the record-breaking APT Manila Classic Super High Roller, securing $208,658. Over at the MSPT Season 16 Venetian Poker Bowl, Anthony Scarborough emerged victorious after a four-way deal to take home $152,243.

WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Pompano Beach Main Event Quick Recap

The 2025 World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s Pompano Beach Main Event has officially concluded with 66-year-old Arthur Peacock, winning the $1,700 Main Event and his career maiden circuit ring. Peacock collected a hefty $230,794 for the victory, pushing his lifetime poker earnings past $1.6 million.

A total of 914 entrants were seated inside the Pompano Beach Casino, generating a $1,384,710 prize pool distributed among the top 101 finishers. Raminder Singh made it to the podium, collecting a six-figure score of $106,906 for his 3rd place finish. Meanwhile, former WSOP Circuit Main Event Champion, Darryl Fish finished 2nd collecting an impressive $153,860.

Tobias Schwecht Triumphs in the Record-Breaking APT Super High Roller

Germany’s Tobias Schwecht outlasted a record-breaking field of 81 entries, to win the 2025 Asian Poker Tour (APT) Manila Classic Super High Roller. The record-breaking field generated a total prize pool of PHP 44,784,900 (~$769,500) – the richest APT non-Main Event prize pool generated in the country. 

The hefty prize pool was split among the top 11 players, while the top 2 finishers earned a six-figure score. Australia’s Ricky Li Qi Huang finished in 2nd place earning a whopping $148,316. I-Chun Chiu rounded out the podium to collect an impressive $97,113.

The champion, Schwecht, earned a staggering $208,658, his maiden Asian Poker Tour trophy, and became the first player to win a ticket into the 2025 APT Championship.

Anthony Scarborough is the 2025 MSPT Season 16 Venetian Poker Bowl Champion 

Anthony Scarborough of Mansfield outlasted a massive field of 892 entries to win the MSPT Season 16 Venetian Poker Bowl. The impressive turnout generated a total prize pool of $1,271,100, with the top 99 finishers securing a payout. 

After a 4-way deal, Scarborough claimed the top prize of $152,243 along with the coveted MSPT title. The four-way deal gave the players over $100k in payout. Dan Heimiller collected $136,124 for his runner-up finish. Rick Green and Alex Kim received $123,936, and $105,000 respectively for their 3rd and 4th place finish.
