The Global Poker Index (GPI) continues to celebrate the achievements and results of some of the best-performing players in the global poker scene. Among the rankings, the GPIT rankings for female players highlight the achievements of the top female poker players, who are making their mark on the international stage.
With their consistent results across live events, several female players have recently ranked on the GPI rankings, underlining their growing presence and the impact of female players in a traditionally male-dominated game of poker. These rankings showcase not only their tournament scores but also their resilience and strategic prowess.
As more and more women are joining the poker space and rising through the ranks, the Global Poker Index provides an important measure to understand and celebrate their achievements in high-stakes poker. This also helps us understand the profundity of talent emerging from the global female poker community.
Continuing to dominate the GPI rankings for females is Kristen Foxen with 2,946.77 GPI points. The Canadian player has continued to hold the top spot for quite some months now. She was last seen grinding at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) held in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Here she recorded one cash at the series at the No Limit Hold’em – SHRPO Championship (Event #42), wherein she finished 52nd out of 865 entries pocketing a prize of $18,400.
Prior to this, she was seen at the 55th World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Here she recorded 10 cashes at WSOP 2024. Notably, she ranks 73rd on the overall GPI rankings.
Taking the second spot is Cherish Andrews with 2,569.96 GPI points. She was last seen at the European Poker Tour – EPT Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. Here she recorded three cashes. First, she finished 13th at the No Limit Hold’em – Estrellas High Roller (Event #21) bagging €35,450 in prizes and 248.78 GPI points. He later took 109th place at No Limit Hold’em – EPT Second Chance (Event #34) for €4,200 and 110.80 GPI points. Lastly, she pocketed €19,000 and 241.67 GPI points at + 1000 No Limit Hold’em – EPT Mystery Bounty (Event #39).
At the third spot is Victoria “Trekker” Livschitz who boasts 2,468.51 GPI points. Most recently she was seen at the European Poker Tour – EPT Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, where she took the 105th place at the + 1000 No Limit Hold’em – EPT Mystery Bounty (Event #39) for a paycheque of €3,900.
Nadya Magnus follows at the third spot with 2,100.76 GPI points. Last seen at Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO)Hollywood in Florida, United States, Nadya Magnus cashed at two events including No Limit Hold’em – SHRPO Championship (Event #42) and No Limit Hold’em – Deep Stack (Event #31). At No Limit Hold’em – SHRPO Championship (Event #42) she finished 34th for $26,000 and 195.07 GPI points, and 19th place at No Limit Hold’em – Deep Stack (Event #31) for $2,320 and 86.13 points.
Famous female pro Maria Ho with 2,087.87 GPI points. She was last seen at the 55th World Series of Poker – WSOP 2024 in Las Vegas, United States. Her two cashes in the series including a 445th place finish at the No Limit Hold’em – MAIN EVENT World Championship (Bracelet Event #81) for $37,500 and 145.24 GPI points and a 102nd place finish at + 3,000 No Limit Hold’em – Mystery Bounty (Bracelet Event #76) for $13,605 and 150.59 GPI points.
Also making noteworthy progress on GPI female rankings is Angela Jordison, who makes her debut among the top 10 at the eighth place. This is major because of her recent win at the Mid-States Poker Tour – MSPT Ameristar East Chicago Main Event held in Chicago, United States. He took down the title along with $161,513 in prizes and 338.98 GPI points. Prior to this she was also seen at Horseshoe Council Bluffs Summer Special – August, Council Bluffs, IA, United States, wherein she took down the No Limit Hold’em for $20,706 and 151.24 GPI points.
