Meet Abhishek Sharma, a Delhi-based live poker player, who has been a consistent force in India’s poker scene since 2018. A pilot instructor and trainer, Sharma has cashed at several prestigious events over the years, including the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), Indian Poker Championship (IPC), Asian Poker Festival (APF), World Poker Tour (WPT), and Poker Dream. His first live cash came in 2019 at the DPT Xpress Main Event in Gangtok, where he finished 4th for INR 80,000.

Over the years, Abhishek Sharma has earned two prestigious live poker titles. His first major victory came in March 2020 when he took down the DPT Xpress Deepstack Turbo, claiming INR 2,07,000. Most recently, he made waves by winning the Mystery Bounty event at the DPT Xpress February 2025 edition, where he took home an impressive INR 6,56,350, including INR 3,95,000 in bounties. With total live earnings of over $30,000 and a career-best live score of $6,927 at the APF Hanoi Superstack Turbo, Sharma continues to make headlines in the Asian poker scene.
