The Vietnam Poker League (VPL) Summer Series Hanoi 2024 inside the Grand Loyal Poker Club Hanoi is just a few hours from its conclusion, with the series’ showstopper VND 25,000,000 (~$1,020) Main Event crowning its champion today. The Main Event, recording 899 entries for a total prize pool of VND 19,620,675,000 (~$800,816), is now down to the 8-handed final table.
Among these eight finalists stands India’s Navkiran Singh. Fresh from clinching victory in Event #20: Super Deepstack, the Baazi Games CEO has secured a seat at the Main Event final table, boasting an impressive stack of 4.07 Million (34 BBs). Given his current form, anticipation mounts for his victory in the main event. However, it is not going to be easy as he has to face a tough competition ahead.
Vietnam’s Dong Van Tan leads the charge at the start of the final table with a commanding stack of 5.96 Million (50 BBs). The final table, rich with Vietnamese pros, also has Phuong USA, the recent VIPT Main Event podium finisher, representing the lone female contender at the table, with 2.74 Million (23 BBs).
While each of the final 8 players is guaranteed at least VND 420 Million, they all will have their eyes fixed on the coveted top prize VND 3.60 Billion payday (~USD 146,938) and the prestigious VPL trophy!
