Following its roaring success in Taiwan last month, U Series of Poker (USOP) heads to Danang, Vietnam where the brand had hosted its richest festival in 2023. Returning back to the scene, the brand has set higher goals than ever, guaranteeing a jaw-dropping VN₫ 60 billion (~$2.45 Million) to be awarded across a whopping 71 tournaments to be held from March 19 to April 1, 2024 at Pullman Danang Beach Resort.
In collaboration with Crown Poker Club Hanoi and Lucky Poker, the upcoming USOP promises to be the brand’s largest festival to date and will offer something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from VN₫ 3,000,000 ($ 123) to VN₫ 250,000,000 ($10,288). USOP Danang Main Event 2024
As with the previous editions, the upcoming festival will be headlined by the VN₫ 30 million buy-in Main Event, which takes place from March 28 to April 1 and features a jaw-dropping VN₫ 15 Billion ($ 614,500) in guaranteed prize pool.

The previous Danang festival running from November 17 to 27, 2023 was a grand success, generating VN₫ 34.8 Billion (~$1.43 Million). Singapore’s The Naing shipped the Main Event for the single largest USOP payout of VN₫ 4,979,000,000 (~$205,190) after defeating a field of 1595 entries.
From Team India, rising star Ritwik Khanna (15th for VN₫ 331.70 Million) and Meherzad Munsaf (35th for VN₫ 125.30 Million) posted deep finishes the main event. Amit Kaushik (37th for VN₫104,100,000,), Manoj Pentakota (40th for VN₫ 104,100,000), Vishal Ojha (55th for 79,400,000), and Vinay B (124th for 53,900,000) were the among the other Indians to cash the event.
Notably, Team India clinched an impressive four trophies at the series, with Chiraag Patel getting India its fourth series title in Event #51: VN₫ 6.6 Million The Closer and earning him VN₫ 223.80 Million prize.
Among other Indian winners at the series, Amit Kaushik overcame a field of 80 entries in the VN₫ 3,400,000 buy-in Event 5: Turbo to win VN₫ 72,000,000 and Vinay B bested a field of 220 entries in the VN₫ 8,800,000 buy-in Event 40: Mystery Rush Bounty to claim VN₫ 411,300,000 in top prize.
India’s Begwani Rohit emerged victorious from a field of 67 entries in the VN₫ 3,400,000 Event 50: Hyper Turbo, taking home an impressive VN₫ 69,100,000 in top prize and the beautiful USOP trophy.
Other Major Highlights
The festival begins in style with a VN₫ 8,800,000 buy-in and VN₫ 2,000,000,000 GTD Kick Off (March 19-21). The action continues with the VN₫ 4,000,000,000 GTD Mystery Millions (March 22-24), which will be followed by the VN₫ 3,000,000,000 GTD Mini Main Event (March 25-27) and VN₫ 1,000,000,000 GTD Megastack (March 25 to April 1).

The special events on the schedule include the VN₫ 1,200,000,000 GTD High Roller: Warm Up (March 19), VN₫ 1,500,000,000 GTD High Roller: Mystery Bounty (March 20), VN₫ 1,800,000,000 GTD High Roller: Deepstack (March 21), VN₫ 1,500,000,000 GTD High Roller: Single Day (March 22), VN₫ 2,500,000,000 GTD High Roller Championship (March 23), VN₫ 3,000,000,000 GTD Superstar Challenge (March 25-25), VN₫ 1,800,000,000 High Roller: Bounty Hunter (March 25), VN₫ 2,100,000,000 High Roller Megastack (March 26 to 27), and VN₫ 2,400,000,000 Super High Roller (March 28-29).
These events will precede the VN₫ 4,000,000,000 GTD Billionaire Club Challenge (March 29), which will be followed by the VN₫ 4,000,000,000 GTD High Roller: The Finale (March 31 to April 1) and VN₫ 1,500,000,000 GTD High Roller: Last Chance (April 1) on the final day of the series.
