March is shaping to be an epic month for high-stakes poker with 2025 Triton Poker Jeju and the PGT Mixed Games delivering intense action. Poker legend Bryn Kenney stole the show at Triton Poker Jeju, capturing his fifth title in the $50K NLH Bounty Quattro for $839,000 (+$480,000 in bounties) and extended his All-Time Money List lead. Meanwhile, Chino Rheem etched his name in history as the 2025 PGT Mixed Games Series Champion, becoming the first two-time series champion in PGT history.
Bryn Kenney Claims Fifth Triton Title, Extends His All-Time Money List Lead
Bryn Kenney made waves at Triton Poker Jeju by winning Event #10 – $50,000 NLH Bounty Quattro, which drew an impressive 95 entries and generated $4,700,000 (including $1,440,000 in bounties). Kenney’s stellar performance earned him $839,000, plus $480,000 in bounties.
With the latest win, the New York native Kenney extends his All-Time Money List lead, bringing his career live tournament earnings to nearly $76.8 million and putting him far ahead of Justin Bonomo, who now sits second with over $65 million. And this was the second cash of the ongoing Triton series for Kenney, following his runner-up finish for $1,897,430 in Event #8: $50K No-Limit Hold’em 7-Handed.
Event #10 – $50,000 NLH Bounty Quattro of the 2025 Triton Poker Jeju featured some of the best high-stakes pros and paid out the top 15 finishers. Some notables to cash were Chris Brewer (14th for $55,500), Chance Kornuth (9thfor $84,700), and Erik Seidel (7th for $151,500).
Kenney entered the final table with the second-largest stack, only behind Spain’s Jon Ander Vallinas. Eliminations were quick and we saw several big names fall in early going, including Chance Kornuth (9th), Stephen Chidwick (8th), and 10-time bracelet winner Erik Seidel (7th).
The next elimination was scored by the eventual champion Bryn Kenney who picked up A-K suited against bracelet winner Leon Sturm’s Q-9 and held to bust the latter in sixth place. Kenney’s next victim was two-time Triton champion Michael Soyza (fourth place), whose pocket sevens lost against the A-J of a surging Kenney, who later eliminated Chongxian Yang who shoved with 9-8 against 10-2 for Kenney.
The heads-up battle was short-lived as it took just one hand for Kenney to convert his lead into the title. He called off when Vallinas with 9s 7s against his Kd Qh. Kenney flopped a queen and held from there, winning the fast-paced event. Vallinas settled in second place for $577,000.

Chino Rheem Crowned As 2025 PGT Mixed Games Series Champion
Over to 2025 PokerGO Tour Mixed Games, the festival concluded with Australian poker pro James Obst claiming the final title. He overcame a field of 56 entrants in Event #7: $25,300 10-Game Championship to win $462,000 and the PGT trophy. He now has nearly $4.5 million in live earnings.
While the two time bracelet winner James Obst shone as the PGT Mixed Games finale winner, Chino Rheem etched his name as the overall series champion, taking home the PGT Gold Cup and a $10,000 PGT Passport.
Rheem joins the likes of Dan Zack (2023) and Max Hoffman (2024) as PGT Mixed Games champions. He is now a two-time PokerGO Tour Mixed Games series champion after winning it in October 2023. With that, Rheem becomes the first two-time series champion in PGT history
The 2025 PGT Mixed Games featured seven events and awarded $6,335,000 in prize money. Rheem finished the series with 384 PGT points to become the PGT Mixed Games champion. He won Event #4: $10,200 8-Game for $195,500 and cashed in two other events (3rd for $114,000 in Event #3: $10,200 H.O.R.S.E and 8th for $39,000 in Event #6: $15,200 Dealer’s Choice) to amass 384 points and $348,500 in earnings. Rheem currently sits eighth on the PGT leaderboard with 422 PGT points.
