Meng Ling Lin Dominates Final Table to Claim $84,905 & PS Trophy #2
Another lady who recently made waves was Taiwan’s Meng Ling Lin. She etched her name as the second biggest winner at the recently-concluded Players Series Taiwan Championship 2025. She overcame a star-studded field of 87 entrants to clinch victory in Event #56 Superstar Challenge (120,000 NT$) for a hefty 2,781,000 NT$ ($84,905) and her career-second PS trophy. Her first trophy came last year when she won a High Roller KO event for NT$ 343,000 ($10,509) at Players Series Taipei 2024, Taipei City.
The final day of the Players Series Superstar Challenge saw 39 more entries, bringing the total count to 87 entries and surpassing its guarantee to create a NT$ 9,020,200 prize pool. The top thirteen players were paid out, following the elimination of Malaysia’s Isaac Phua on the bubble.
Meng Ling Lin started the final table as the short stack but played some top-notch poker to get back in the game. She dominated with aggressive play, building her stack mostly through Moonho Seo, whom she finally eliminated in 3rd place. Entering heads-up against Vincent Rubianes with a 2:1 lead, Lin steadily finished him off to seal her second PS victory.
