Borgata Winter Poker Open Crowns Two Champions in $3,500 Main Event

Following over two weeks of intense action, the 2025 Borgata Winter Poker Open series has come to a close with its $3,500 Main Event crowning not one but two champions. Nguyen Le took home a bigger payout of $425,000 following a heads-up chop with Joseph Neiman banked an impressive $406,791 for his efforts.

For Lee, it was his career-best score surpassing his previous best $55,500, which he earned for his sixth place in PokerGO Tour ‘s PGT Last Chance #1 this month. The latest score took his live earnings from $161,040 to over $586k. For Neiman too, it was a career-high victory, surpassing all his previous scores and taking his live earnings to more than $669k.

Event #27: $3,500 No Limit Hold’em Championship drew an impressive 932 entries across two flights, smashing the $2 million guarantee and generating $2,884,540 in the final prize pool, which was paid out to top 119 players.

253 players returned for Day 2, with registration still open for the first two levels on Day 2. The money was reached when the field whittled down to 119 players during the day. Eliminations continued and the day eventually ended with 40 players advancing to Day 3.

Following over 11 hours of play, it finally came down to the final table where popular YouTuber Ryan DePaulo became the first casualty, falling in the ninth place.  The long-time pro Kitty Kuo and Tommy McNicholas followed him in eighth and seventh. The final six players then bagged for the night, with Nguyen Le leading the way.

The final six players then returned for the final day to battle it out for the title on the Borgata Poker Live Stream. Sal Evola, who entered day third in chips, fell in sixth. He was followed by Dorian Rios in fifth and Phil Saracino in fourth. The three-handed play lasted four hours before the elimination of Clemen Deng in third place. 

The heads-up battle took place between Nguyen Le and Joseph Neiman. Following several hours of the back and forth battle, the final two players decided to chop. Le took home the bigger portion with a payout of $425K, while Neiman banked over $407K due to his slightly smaller stack.
