Punsri preferred playing cash games until the late 2010s. He said, “The sensation and excitement you get from going deep in tournaments are much more satisfying.” Punsri’s first recorded live poker win came in 2017, winning the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour $300 buy-in High Roller for $22,391.
Two Live Poker Victories in 2019
After a two-year hiatus from live poker tournaments, Punsri returned to Asia competing in some prestigious live poker tournaments. In 2019, he won the PokerStars Manila Megastack 11 High Roller Turbo Event for a $15,881 payday. He followed that up with a win in the Championships Event at APT Seoul for $ 51,178. He then wrapped up the year on a good note with a 4th place finish in the Asian Poker Tour Taipei Championship Event for a $20,309 payout.
Second APT Title Victory in 2020
Punsri began 2020 in style, securing his second Asian Poker Tour title by winning the Asian Poker Tour Vietnam High Roller, pocketing $6,492. It was his only live poker event of that year, as the live poker world shut down due to the Pandemic. Punsri then traveled to Las Vegas in 2021 to compete in the 2021 World Series of Poker. He made money finishing in four WSOP events, which included a cash finish in the $10k WSOP Main Event for $44,200.
First PokerGO Tour & Triton Title In 2022
Punsri followed his WSOP CASH up with three final table finishes in the World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic, earning over $100k. The Thai poker pro started 2022 by winning his first PokerGO Tour title in the 2022 PGT Venetian High Rollers Event #1: $10,000 for his first six-figure score of $118,037. He also won Event #2 of the series, claiming two back-to-back PGT titles. He then came close to winning his first gold bracelet in the 2022 WSOP Event #12: $50k NLH High Roller, but couldn’t get past the 3rd place and earned a hefty $593,481 payout. Punsri also made a runner-up finish in the Event #76: $1,979 NLH Poker Hall of Fame Bounty, settling for $170,615 payday.
In September 2022, Punsri won his first Triton title when he triumphed in the Triton Poker SHRS Cyprus $100k Main Event for his first seven-figure score of $2,600,000. Punsri concluded the year by winning WPT Prime Taiwan High Roller, adding $78,798 to his earnings.

Punsri started 2024 by winning the Poker Dream 8 Malaysia Super High Roller for $176,858. He followed it up with winning his second Triton title in the Triton Poker SHRS Jeju $50k NLH for a staggering $2,010,000. He again came close to winning his first bracelet but had to settle for the runner-up finish in the 55th WSOP Event #87: $5,000 NLH earning $523,648.
Punsri wrapped up 2024 with a money finish in the Triton Poker SHRS Monte Carlo. He scored a runner-up finish in Event #9: $50k 7-Handed for an impressive $1,021,000 payday. He then came close to winning his second Triton Main Event trophy in the $125k Triton Main Event, but finished in 3rd place, collecting $2,045,000. Punsri also scored two money finishes in the 2024 WSOP Paradise. He ran deep in Event #2: $500k Triton Million for $755,000, and made a final table finish in the Event #13: $50k NLH High Roller, pocketing $161,480.
