The $3,300 buy-in Main Event drew 474 entrants, pushing the guaranteed $1 million, building the largest prize pool for this PLO tournament in Texas for a staggering $1,422,000. Of the 474 players, 55 players made it to Day 2, all with a confirmed mini cash of $5,500. The Day 2 concluded with the final seven left in contention.

Cheng leads the pack. However, he lost the lead to Andrew Ige, who showed domination throughout the final table, eliminating Kyle Arora (5th), Sterling Savill (4th), and Senovio Ramirez (3rd). With his continued domination, he entered the heads-up with almost a 2:1 chip advantage. But Cheng fought back and took a slight lead over Ige before the last hand came.

The final hand saw Ige shoving all in with backdoor flush and straight draw against the flush draw of Chang. Ige led the flop until the river A♥️, which gave Chang a flush to clinch his first-ever PGT title and a career-best payday of $300,000.
