Chirag Sodha Wins DPT Grand Mystery Bounty Title For ₹5.18 Lakhs

The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Grand 2024 Mystery Bounty has crowned its champion. Chirag Sodha has won the coveted Bounty title, taking home an impressive ₹5,18,126 in top prize money.

The Mystery Bounty Event at the DPT Grand 2024 had a buy-in of ₹40,000. A total 137 players gathered inside the luxurious Deltin Royale, building a total prize pool of ₹23,97,500. From the 137 entrants, the top 17 finishers shared the prize pool, with Chirag Sodha walking away with the lion’s share for his remarkable victory in the tournament. 

The final day of the mystery bounty event saw a total of 27 players and several notables among them cashed the tournament, including Adda52 Game Ambassador Arun Sriram (12th for ₹52,721), DPT May 2024 Micro Main Event champion Naveen Kumar (14th for ₹46,617), and Kovid Saraswat (15th for ₹46,617).

Chirag Sodha, the NPS India 2022 Main Event champion, entered the final table as second in chips, and maintained it untill the end. The final table included some notable names such as Vikaash Shah (5th for ₹1,66,306), DPT and WPT winner Gagandeep Malik (6th for ₹1,23,091), Shivam Shukla (7th for ₹91,906), and online crusher Karan Sitlani (8th for ₹67,432).

As the field whittled down to three, Chirag Sodha, Debayan Das, and Kishore agreed to an ICM deal, splitting up the remaining ₹15,97,146. Kishore led the remaining two players with a 19,25,000 stack, so he took home the biggest payout ₹6,64,412 after his 3rd place finish. Debayan Das took home a ₹4,14,607 for his runner-up finish, while Chirag Sodha confirmed ₹5,18,126.
