The PGT 2024 Super High Roller Series has concluded, with Richard Gryko winning the final Event #10 and Joni Jouhkimainen winning Event #9. Gryko and Jouhkimainen both claimed their first PokerGoTour title with this win, earnings points for the PGT Leaderboard.

2024 Super High Roller Series Event #10: $25,750 PLO Mystery Bounty Final Table Recap

Event #10: $25,750 PLO Mystery Bounty 6-Handed attracted 19 players, creating a prize pool of $465,500, with half of it reserved for the Bounty pot. Richard Gryko not only took the first-place prize of $115,000 but also scooped all the mystery bounties amounting to $232,750 . This marked his first victory since 2019 and sixth largest career score.

The six-handed play soon turned into a four-handed battle after the elimination of Joni Jouhkimainen (6th) and Gergo Nagy (5th), who had finished in the first and second places respectively in Event #9. Richard Gryko, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Lautaro Guerra, and Jeremy Ausmus fought in the four-handed battle.

The current PGT Leaderboard leader and six-time WSOP bracelet winner Ausmus bowed out on the money bubble in 4th place. Gryko soon knocked out the inaugural PGT Pot-Limit Omaha series champion Lautaro Guerra in 3rd place for $42,250.

Gryko held a significant chip lead against Jachtmann at the beginning of the heads-up play, but Jachtmann quickly reversed the role. It didn’t last long, as Gryko soon took over the lead and left Jachtmann with just two big blinds.

In the next hand, Jachtmann put the last of his chip stack in the middle with jacks and some danglers, and Gryko called it with nines and fives. Gryko made a full house on the flop. Jachtmann still had the chance of flopping to a better full house but was unable to hit a jack.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann was eliminated in 2nd place for $79,500, scoring his first cash of this PGT season. The English player Richard Gryko scored his second $100k+ score this year after a $100k in 2024 $50k High Roller PLO at the WSOP.
