The much-awaited Red Poker Tour Jeju is all set to kick off from July 26th, 2024. The 10-day poker festival offers 38 trophy events with many interesting poker variants, including Short Deck, Limit Deuce-Seven Single Draw, and the popular No-Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha.
However, the main highlight of this festival is the KRW 2.2 million (~$1,500) buy-in Red Dragon Poker Tour Championship Event, aka the Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of KRW 1.68 billion (~$1,236,390), which will run from July 30th to August 4th.
Philippines-based Red Dragon Ventures recently opened their poker room Red Dragon at Landing Casino, Jeju Shinhwa World Resort, South Korea. The room has already gained a lot of attention of some of the poker veterans, like Phil Ivey and Steve O’Dwyer, who have already made appearances on the poker tables.
Red Dragon is not pulling back from inviting some of the best poker players around the world for this festival, such as Tom Dwan, CTP Club President David Tai, Japan Open Poker Tour ambassador Junnosuke Taguchi, two-time bracelet winner Xixiang Luo, and Red Dragon Poker veteran Celina Lin, who has won the Red Dragon Main Event in 2009, and 2012.
2024 Red Dragon Poker Tour Jeju Event Highlights
The festival will feature 38 trophy events, as well as the Milestone satellite events through which you can participate in other key events like the Single Day High Roller, High Roller, Main Event, and the Baby Dragon Event. These Milestone Satellite events not only offer a seat at high-profile events but also offer an extra 70,000 chips to the winner, the winner of the High Roller Milestone Satellite will get an additional 140,000 chips.

Jeju Shinhwa World Resort collaborated with the Red Dragon Poker Tour to promote its inaugural Korea Poker Cup event. The event will begin on July 26 and end on July 28, with three starting flights. The winner of this event will receive the Korea Poker Cup trophy with a one-night free stay at Shinhwa Hotel in the next KPC event (ITM Players), and the top 3 finishers will receive a seat at the 2024 RDPT Jeju Main event.
The main highlight of this festival is the Red Dragon Poker Tour Jeju Championship Event, which offers a GTD of KRW 1.68 billion. Players can enter the event across the four starting flights from July 30 – August 1, with remaining players battling to take a share of the GTD and the trophy.
