The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to deliver thrilling stories. Nick Schulman added another milestone to his illustrious poker career by capturing his seventh WSOP bracelet in Event #30: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). Schulman, already a two-time winner of this prestigious event, outlasted a stacked field of 233 entries to secure his third title in the same format, etching his name further into poker history.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Renat Bohdanov earned his second career bracelet in the $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em, after outlasting 1,027 challengers.
Nick Schulman Claims 7th Bracelet In WSOP 2025 $10K 2-7 Single Draw
Nick Schulman won his career seventh WSOP bracelet, taking down Event #30: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship at the 2025 WSOP. This marks his third bracelet in the same $10K NL 2-7 Single Draw event, which he previously won in 2009 and 2012. For the victory, Schulman pocketed $497,356, pushing his live earnings past $23.7 million.
The $10K buy-in event attracted 233 entries, generating a total prize pool of $2,166,900, which was paid out to the top 35 finishers. Several well-known players made it to the money, including James Obst (29th), 17-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth (27th), three-time bracelet holder Alex Foxen (20th), WSOP Main Event Champion Huck Seed (17th), and six-time bracelet winner and Hall of Famer Brian Rast (14th).
Although they cashed, they couldn’t survive long enough to reach the final table. Despite that, the final table was star-studded. Daniel Negreanu, a seven-time bracelet winner and Hall of Famer, finished in 7th place for $61,231. Dan Smith came 6th for $83,179. Ben Yu, a four-time bracelet winner, finished 5th and earned $114,989. Three-time bracelet holder Chad Eveslage rounded out the podium in 3rd place for a six-figure score of $231,321.
Heads-Up
Nick Schulman faced Darren Elias, WPT’s all-time money leader who was still seeking his first WSOP bracelet. Schulman entered heads-up play with a 2:1 chip advantage, but the match was far from easy.
The heads-up battle lasted over eight hours, with both players delivering a gritty, strategic fight. The tournament concluded when Elias moved all-in with a ten-nine draw, and Schulman called with a pat ten-eight. Schulman’s hand held, eliminating Elias in second place for $336,421.
With this victory, Nick Schulman became a three-time champion of the $10K NL 2-7 Single Draw Championship.

Renat Bohdanov Wins Second Bracelet in WSOP 2025 $3K Freezeout NLH
Ukraine’s Renat Bohdanov, who claimed his first gold bracelet in 2019 at the World Series of Poker Europe, emerged victorious in Event #35: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em, collecting his second gold bracelet and a top prize of $451,600. With this win, Bohdanov pushed his lifetime poker earnings past $2 million.
The $3,000 buy-in attracted 1,027 entries, creating a total prize pool of $2,742,090, shared among the top 155 finishers. Tsz Ho Chau of Hong Kong finished 3rd, earning $212,820, setting the stage for the heads-up duel.
Heads-Up
Brazil’s Dennys Ramos entered heads-up play with a slight chip lead over Bohdanov. However, Bohdanov soon reversed the situation with ace-ten and took control of the match. A few hands later, Ramos shoved with queen-ten, and Bohdanov tank-called with queen-eight.
The flop came Js–Qd–10h, favoring Ramos with two pair, but the 7♠ on the turn and the 9♠ on the river completed a straight for Bohdanov, securing him the win.
Team India’s Performance
India’s Ankit Ahuja made it to the money, earning $6,000 finishing in 132nd place.
