2024 WSOP Online: Konstantin Held Takes Down Mini Main Event for First Bracelet

We are almost halfway through the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series with over more than 12 events reaching their conclusion. In this report, we will share a short report on bracelet Events 9, 10, 11, and 12. The online poker series has been running on GGPoker since August 18, and players now have 25 days left to claim the remaining 21 online bracelets. 

Fresh off from his WPT Cambodia Championship victory, Germany’s Konstantin Held became the latest bracelet winner at the series. He claimed his first online bracelet for his victory in the WSOP Online Mini Main Event NLH.

Konstantin Held Wins Event #12: $500 Mini Main Event NLH

The German Poker pro Konstantin Held wins his career-first gold bracelet in the $500 buy-in Mini Main Event, securing a staggering six-figure sum of $574,199. Event  #12: $500 Mini Main Event NLH attracted 9,220 players, creating a staggering prize pool of $4,379,500. Held kicked off 2024 with a victory at the inaugural WPT Cambodia Championship.

Only 952 players made it into the money, with several Asian players finishing deep. China’s Chuan Feng narrowly missed 1st place and finished as the runner-up and took $442,581. Australian player Yongjia Lin was eliminated in 4th place, earning $263,179, while Vietnam’s Trong Hieu Ngo “OverTheTop113” finished in 9th place to collect $71,783.

Michael Khan Wins Event #11: Flip & Go NLH

Canada’s Michael Khan defeated China’s Hanwen Tao aka “lonelyback, in the heads-up battle to win his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet and a payout of $165,549. Tao had to exist in 2nd place for $127,629. The event generated 7,346 entries, creating a prize pool of $1,228,920. 

Like other tournaments, Asian made it into the deep but failed to claim any bracelet. 0Malaysia’s “Lucky Ming” ended up in 9th place and received $20,704. Philippine poker pro-Marc Rivera locked up third place for $98,419.

Ourania Zarkantzia Claims Second Gold Bracelet At 5-Card Plo

Ouarnia Zarkantzia has claimed his second career bracelet in Event #10: $1,000 5-Card PLO for a six-figure score of $103,674. The event drew 709 entries, building up a prize pool of $673,550, with Zarkantzia taking a bigger piece from the prize pool. Zarkantzia won his first gold bracelet in the 2022 WSOP Online Colossus Event.

Acacio Bispo Wins Event #9: $320 Bounty NLH

Portuguese player Acacio Bispo “Maestro_10” outlasted over 3,500 players to claim his first career gold bracelet. Event #9: $320 buy-in bounty NLH pulled 3,610 entries, building up a prize pool of $1,074,336. 

Several Asian players took part in the event, but only three players made a deep final table finish, including two Indian players “Easychips” in 5th place ($28,976) and India’s Nishaanth Shanmughasundaram “SoonaPaana” in 6th place ($27,558) respectively. Japan’s Seiichi Kanemitsu fell short of reaching 1st place and bowed out in 2nd place for $59,766.
